Faf du Plessis has stepped down as captain of South Africa in all formats.

That’s one captain back. Still a few to go to draw level IIRC.

Heather Knight becomes the first England player to score centuries in all three formats.

If only she got more chances in Tests...

She'd run the entire team out.

But yes, great accomplishment. Still can't see our ladies coming out on top. The batting order is woeful. Beaumont, one of 3 batters in the team to have scored a T20I century? Good one coach.

Batting line up should be: Wyatt, Beaumont, Jones, Knight, Sciver, Winfield, Wilson, Brunt.

Not even really convinced Winfield should be in the squad, she's barely ever done anything.

Bravo, Incompetent Cricket Council.

Great way the advertise and grow the game, be as inflexible as possible.

Even though it's a warm-up, there's some positives coming out England men's current match with the SL XI. Crawley has scored 134 across his two innings, 78 for Root (from one innings), 79 from Buttler (ditto), Pope currently 65*.

Decent bowling figures too.

It is for Jos Buttler, not so much everyone else.
