We've made a bit of a pig's arse of this session so far. Slips have had a shocker.

Terrible stuff. Especially with the better opener out early and the out-of-form Azhar at 3.

Annoying to have play curtailed but we've definitely had the better day.

Lots jumping to defence of Jos after yesterday on Twitter. The questions have never really been about his ability to bat (though he does seem to have curtailed some of his attacking intentions) but his glove work. Does seem to be a lack of appreciation about what a top class keeper brings amongst the English selectors going back years (I'm still annoyed at the lack of caps for Chris Read).

Jos could make 900* today and whilst I would acknowledge that as a ridiculously incredible feat, I would still want Foakes keeping in the subcontinent.

I am pleased that Jos is making runs though.

Really hoping Creepy Crawley makes a double today.

Excellent stuff from Crawley yesterday backed up well by Jos. Shame they'll probably only get about 5 more runs each this morning

To be fair I didn’t like his batting much either. It’s nice to see it come good but as you and Drumstick say, the result is going to be som very dodgy keeping in the subcontinent.

Not sure why there is talk about when to declare, we might as well just bat the game out.
