Always had a soft spot for Azhar, very happy to see him deliver a performance like that (just a shame it was against us).

Don't think we'd be enforcing the follow on if this wasn't the final test of the year.

I think tomorrow's forecast is probably also contributing to the decision. We should win this easily, I'd imagine it'll be over by tea.

Another one down off Anderson  - I think he may actually murder someone in the near future. Looking forward to the next episode of Tailenders

Management have now had enough and Colly is coming on to show people how it's done.

What a modern legend that man is.

Also: got it in the second innings!

Being the most casual of cricket viewer (and fan of Brian Lara Cricket on the PS1/2), I must admit I've enjoyed having the BBC2 highlights on in the background at 7 these last few weeks. I overheard them say it's on Live on BBC1 Sunday so unless it's rained off I'll probably stick it on all day.

Just FYI Sunday is a T20 between England and Pakistan, not a Test match.

Bairstow blows another golden opportunity for a century.

Aaaand Tom Fenton demonstrating how overrated he is from one decent season.

A lovely win that.

Which?

Edit: I'm going to assume it's the latter- you can blame Vaughan if I'm not impressed by what he's done in an England shirt so far. Hasn't really made runs in the 5 ODIs he's had to date, one decent knock in the T20Is.

The way Vaughan has repeatedly sold him on TMS is that he's this impossible to contain 360-degree de Villiers batsman who will make you runs every game. Hes made runs in 2/9 innings and for someone who is impossible to contain, Ireland, the minnows, did pretty well.

Anyone else catch last night's match, aside from T20 Superfan Balla, obviously?

It seems really, really obvious that Malan should be in the first XI.

Buttler, Roy, Bairstow, Malan, Morgan, Stokes, Moeen, Jordan, Archer, Rashid, Wood.

The top 3 can go hell for leather in the powerplay.
