Ask GR: How many copies of GTA V do you own?

I have it on PS4, PC and Xbox One.

And I'm not even a GTA fan. I just thought it'd be fun to play with people online.

360 and PS4. Completed the singleplayer on 360, only bought the PS4 version to play online with mates. The story is fine, nothing more, but the online is excellent fun and a big step up from anything IV did. I think it's quite a common opinion but in retrospect, IV was very dull.

I doubt I'd buy a PS5 update as I've completely lost interest in Rockstar after RDR2.

I have seen a lot of people in various comments on Twitter,FB,Instagram all saying similar things and regarding the milking of GTA 5 Online and re-releasing it again as well as the lack of updates for RDR2 and their focus still on GTAO and in 2 years from now GTA 5 will be 10 years old!

I had it on PS3 originally then bought the PC version in Steam. I also have a second PC version on Epic Game Store but that was free.

I own it on PS3 and PS4. Completed it finally last year, but majority of my hours went in to GTA Online. As it's intended to be free, I shall certainly pick up GTA Online for the PS5. In fact, I'll likely buy a PS5 around that time if I do not have one at that point. For me, GTA is at it's most enjoyable when you have a lot of tools at your disposal to create mayhem, and I certainly have that online!

I have purchased it and sold/gave away many times, I have had it for Xbox One and PlayStation 4, I will buy it again for PlayStation 5

Still only half as many times as I bought Skyrim.

Zero. I am my own man and as such I do not follow the banal trends of the commoners.

the real reason is because I don't like these kinds of games and didn't have a modern console until I bought a ps4 last year

Own it on 360 and Xbox One, still salty we dont get singleplayer addons for it. strawberry float GTA Online.

360 for the original launch, then got it on PC when I got one last year. I was excited for ultra graphics and mods but found even though it had been almost 7 years, I didn't want to play through it all again.

Had it on PS3 and clocked it on release. Had it bought for me on PS4, traded it after doing the first mission...bought it digitally on PS4 about 3 years later for buttons, will probably be the last game I play before moving generations.

Just double checked and I did get it free on the Epic store last year. I might actually get around to trying it at some point.

Is it actually any good?

PC (Rockstar), PC (Epic Game Store).

I rented the 360 version.

Had it on PS3 and then PS4, when i got the PS4 version though, i traded in the PS3 copy.

It's much better than 4 but not as good as the PS2 games. Online gives it a separate appeal though.

Online is its own love it or hate it issue. If you just want to test out the new toys that get added and don't mind missing out on the multiplayer fun or the Online-specific events, it's better to just get a trainer and free access to everything. Online can still be fun with the right people, but more often than not those people are friends not randoms.
