I've barely touched the AC franchise since AC2 but I've been playing a little but of Origins recently and enjoying it which has got me in the mood for more assassination action so I'm hoping this turns out to be a good entry!

Origins is amazing, up with Black Flag as my favorite. Bayek was a great lead character.

No knocking Cassandra in Odyssey (she's awesome too) but I really like Bayek.

I just hope they portray Luton as the shining global capital it's always been.
Have a cutscene where the main characters break down and cry for at least a day upon first seeing its utter beauty and magnificence of such a fabled place.
It's like heaven but 10 times better.

Yeah Bayek has been a large part of why I've taken to this, he's a good lead for the game. Although that said whenever I hear his name I think he should be from Yorkshire: "By 'eck will you get a load of them ruddy Templars!"

I can't lie, that did cross my mind when playing also.

Intrigued by the Ireland DLC. I'm from a town outside Dublin that was a Viking settlement and has an Old Norse - fingers crossed we get a mention :msgreen:

Xbox Series X | S: Take in the mysterious Northern Lights of Norway or the majesty of England’s Stonehenge in 4K resolution at 60 frames per second on Xbox Series X. Thanks to the collaboration between the game team and Microsoft to implement Xbox Velocity Architecture and DirectStorage API on Xbox Series X | S, you can take full advantage of faster loading speeds for more play time, and a smoother and more powerful experience. With Smart Delivery you can purchase an Xbox One X version of the game and you’ll be able to upgrade at no extra cost when you get your new Xbox Series X | S*.

PlayStation 5: PS5 players can immerse themselves in the stunning open world with the power of the Tempest 3D Audio Engine to hear the environment around them, along with detailed 4K and 60 frames per second visuals, and faster loading speeds due to the additional power of the console’s ultra-high speed SSD. If you purchase a PS4 copy of the game, you’ll be able to upgrade at no additional cost to the PS5** edition.

Surprising/annoying that CDKeys haven’t got the Xbox codes up for sale yet.

Could look pretty darn amazing on next gen hardware.

Just wandering about sightseeing should be pretty interesting.

Xbox have some Series X footage on their YouTube channel that they put up earlier, it does look rather good! Honestly feeling a little more tempted by this over Cyberpunk 2077 as my first open world game of next gen.
