Just finished off the Yule festival before it’s gone (for some reason) in roughly 24 hours. Found it quite buggy compared to the rest of what I’ve played so far, barrel kept disappearing in the first quest, first time I started looking for the cows I literally couldn’t find them but after reloading they were there.

I really really hope when it disappears Eivor will no longer be drunk every time I load the game.

Because that's a bug it caused for some reason.

Yes hopefully it gets rid of that too! Slightly annoying when you’ve saved near a raid/mission and you reload and you’re swaying around drunk

It is happening to both myself and my girlfriend, we think it was doing one of the yuletide quests that triggered it (they all involve drinking).

It's very dumb. The game already takes far too long to load and at the moment you practically have to wait another minute for the drunkenness to wear off.

The whole drunken state is badly done in general because it makes it genuinely hard to play and takes far too long to wear off. On multiple occasions in quests you have to sober up drunk people by placing them in water (specifically placing, the game doesn't let you throw them which feels like what you should be able to do) so you'd think you could dive into a river yourself to cure the drunken effect, but no.

That’s good it’s happening to everyone because I thought it was just me so hopefully it will be fixed, I have also had an issue with opals where I can see them but can’t pick them up

I've decided that the Viking characters (particularly Ivarr) are all unlikeable strawberry floats so I'm just going to concentrate on the hit list for Hytham and Basim as if I was just a member of the order and not a beer swilling Viking.

It helps I spent 12 hours hunting the length of England for the full Hidden Ones armour so I at least look the part.

Basim is one of the most unlikeable characters in the game

I'm fond of the eccentric characters which feature in a lot of the side missions, such as the two neighbours who had a punch up over barley.

Keep finding myself playing this for far longer sessions than i probably should be, always seem to end up distracted by another shiny blob on the map and before i know it, the mogwai is being fed well after midnight.

Not sure if it's been mentioned but Amazon Prime members can claim a free gear set up until the 13th Jan.

It came up on the screen today but for some reason my ubi account email and password are not in my keychain so I am having trouble linking them, I didn’t even know about prime gaming before this!

Edit - I have managed to do it

This has crashed to desktop on average once per play session consistently.

I've had no crashes at all in over 50 hours of gameplay.

Anecdotally the stability has improved on PS4 since Christmas as it hasn't crashed during my last few sessions.

Got a free code for this with my new motherboard. Is the series still doing all that dumb animus stuff?
