I didn’t mind them that much but on a couple of occasions I had to look up the solution because it didn’t seem possible

All self-inflicted from trophy chasing tbh ;)

I quite liked them, think I found the majority.

Gonna have to leave Ireland and go back to the britain for a bit to level up. Werewolf dude in Ireland absolutely destroys me in seconds even though I am the recommended level....

I don’t know how anyone has the patience to 100% this, I enjoyed my (around 100 hours with it) but unless I grab the DLC and quickly go through that one day I can’t see myself going back to it. With how much unnecessary side content there is in this (in my opinion at least) does make me slightly worried for the Star Wars game Ubisoft are working on that it’ll be a similar story with that.

It's still there but a lot less than the older city-based games

My impression is that the games have made climbing too easy. When you do have to (or want to) scale a building in Valhalla, you don't really have to think about it - just push the stick forwards and go. Maybe I'm remembering it better than it was, but in AC2 I recall needing to look at the walls and pick a route where there were enough handholds.

I think that freedom of climbing in general makes the surfaces you can't climb more jarring.

The chase the tattoo designs are a bit disappointing because there are some very cool parkour routes the game wants to take you on, but catch the tattoo and it's over. Considering you can often catch the tattoo early, or that you can often chase the tattoo in two directions and its unclear which is the "proper" way, it felt like I missed out on the full parkour challenge. Repeatable timed races would have been so much more fun.

I find its fighting with the camera to see where it’s gone or when your character tries to climb tree’s or poles instead of running on or through them. I hated it when it was feathers no I hate it even more now it’s something I don’t care about. If it wasn’t for 100% I would have missed this out.

Had to lower my level down to 250 to get the on fire trophy, that took me a coupe of hours last night.

121 hours in now, England probably 80% cleared now just 4 more sections one of which is a small area. Looking at the trophies (first time I’ve looked in over 100 hours) I think Ireland is a DLC so not to worried about further maps now.

Think I might have to start tying up trophies soon like river raids and those challenges I haven’t bothered with.

River raids was a free update so shouldn't be related to the platinum, same with Ireland which is DLC. The five base game maps are Norway, England, Asgard, Jotunheim and Vinland

Bought Assassins Creed Rogue Remastered on Xbox Sale for €9 and I have to say, it looks stunning. The horrendous Irish accent of the main character aside (maybe non Irish people wouldn't notice). I'm really enjoying it. It's FPS boosted so runs at a perfect 60fps and seemingly is still 4K. (AC3 Remastered is FPS boosted but resolution gets cut dramatically).

Your best mate in the game is actually Irish which makes the main character stand out even more!
