Plenty of people have been saying it's going to be Viking themed.

Wasn't the rumours saying that this was Assassin's Creed: Ragnarok?

Hope they go back to insta-kill assassinations

(they won't)

I liked Odyssey but even by the standards of Assassin's Creed it was far too big. Hopefully they've constrained themselves this time.

Meanwhile I’m just waiting here for the Assassins Creed Ezio collection to come out on the Switch

Slightly joking of course though, a Viking themed/inspired Assassins Creed has the potential to be fantastic, much more appealing than the Egyptian or Greek setting to me.

Not sure if serious, but you couldn't instant-assassinate enemies over your level in the recent games, because of the rpg shift. I don't particularly want combat encounters and boss fights in assassin's creed (I'll make an exception for the pope), I want interesting assassination setups instead.

Basically I should go play the new Hitman 2

It's done on enemy level in Origins and Odyssey so potentially you could insta-kill someone if you deal enough stealth damage. Attacking someone 20 levels above though isn't going to work.

I've not played an AC game since Syndicate. That sounds annoying.

I'm still watching it and it's been almost four hours on it.

It'll be interesting to see how they handle the UK in the game.
The difference in the countryside between the UK and the Scandinavian countries that had contact with the Vikings is pretty huge.

Could be a nice showcase game those as the last game looked terrific on One X.

I'm still waiting for them to do Assassin's Creed: Ancient Rome, with a fully remastered (not shitty) Brotherhood release to accompany it.

It's all going to be a bit flat isn't it? Like what can you really climb in this one? A mud hut in the Highlands?

AC games have been Witcher 3 clones since Origins.

Vikings? Well that’s a surprise...

Are Ubisoft the leakiest devs out there?

It's happened so often now I think it's intentional.
