I was getting fed up with it by the 80 ish hour mark, think I finished far from 100% with about 100 hours on the board. With how much other stuff there is to play I just couldn’t justify fully completing this, I do hope I can pick up the season pass when its on offer at some point and just blitz through the story missions in all of those 2 or 3 DLC (is there 2 out now and the last one out next year? I don’t know ) just to see Eivor’s story through as I enjoyed it.

150 hours that without any DLCs. :dread:

I'll buy the DLC on cheap one day. Or probably never.

I might just watch the cutscenes on YouTube if I never get around to buying and playing it, got more than enough to be cracking on with rather than playing DLC for this anyway

I believe that the newest update is a complete re-download, Moggy. Ubisoft have made significant changes that - unfortunately! - require the whole game to be installed again.

Yeah, they've changed how all the data is structured, apparently. It's a one-off that will allow for their future expansions, and result in smaller filesize overall.

I have only just bought this and its okay but i don’t feel anything more than any other assassins creed game so far (only 5 hours in). The combat feels worse IMO

Yeah, the PS5 has the smallest install as it uses Sony's compression technology. The PS4 and Xbox file space requirements are quite a bit larger.

Can you imagine finishing Valhalla and thinking you want more content. Just lol at the update size, they'd be better off just leaving it alone, it's over a year old already.

Are you in England yet? Norway should have been cut completely, just get to England if you haven't already.

There's a new expansion coming next year that's meant to be pretty big... and it's an additional circa $40 outside of even the existing season pass.

No im 8 hours in and still in Norway. Im trying to do everything or does everything in Norway not count towards Platinum?

Lots of mechanics don't unlock until you reach England (like raiding monasteries - my favourite part of the game - and even basic things like doing a leap of faith). You can come back to Norway later - and in fact will have to for the higher level region and for plot reasons.

Also the treasures that appear on the map when most zoomed in don't count towards completion/platinum so you don't have to collect all of those.

Doing everything and getting platinum in this will take well over 100 hours and if you complete everything as you go you will quickly be well overlevelled. I skipped a fair amount of content and finished the game after 120 hours, I was still overlevelled by the time I reached like the fourth county in England. My partner got the platinum and it took her 160 hours.

Yes it does.

There are a few things that you need to do to get the Platinum, but I'd recommend to leave it until later when you're more powerful.
