Just picked this up yesterday. Why is your character silent when your twin is so chatty? I'm not a huge fan of silent protagonists in voiced games, but this is actually irritating me even more as they had voice actors in to provide dialogue for both PCs already! Even just a few non committal scraps like "I agree" or "are you sure about that" to pepper between lines from other characters would have made a difference!

I have to admit it kinda did bother me too, through important story moments your character just stands there with no emotion hardly kinda like Fire Emblem THree Houses. Both these games protaganist really should've had proper voice acting.

Particularly as the other character must be voiced if you play as the other gender.

On File 11. Have enjoyed it l, but i will not bother with any post game content. I'm at about 26 hours now and the combat feels really stale at this point.

im on 41 hours (at least) and doing so post game stuff. im in too deep

The projected times in reviews (circa 15 hours) seem way off from all the real findings I have seen posted. There is a huge amount of content in this game.

I've not really been doing that and I'm already at around 16 hours at the beginning of File 8. Not sure it's grabbed me enough to attempt to 100% it. There's too much repetition in the combat, levels and enemies to keep replaying levels.

Finished it just now. 27 hours total. The last battle was pretty tense, I had to use all my AED s and Medi kits / heal all's etc and finished with the smallest sliver of energy.

I’m on file 4 and finding a paw print icon on doors that I can’t unlock. I assume I need a new Legion skill to do this, but I haven’t had the chance to earn any other legion yet. How am I supposed to open these things at this stage?

It's there to encourage replaying levels. But it's such a massive game it seems like overkill to me.

About halfway through File 6 and I have to admit this game really hasn't gripped me as much as I was hoping it would. I suspect it's due to not enjoying the combat as much as I probably should be, just seems pretty repetitive so far with only a few stock enemy types.

I tend to quite enjoy more character driven games anyway but this cast just feels wooden so far and the protagonist is just plain dull. It's making me want to go back and play through a third Fire Emblem route instead.

It doesn't really change from that point onwards to be honest. And yeah, i thought the combat was pretty repetitive too. I found myself using 2 legions almost exclusively, and just going through a set routine of sync attacks etc to get an S+ rank every time.

Ended up dropping this, I enjoyed it at first but I got to a point where I couldn’t really get into it. Might be one I give another try in a year or so.

Fin. What a game. GOTY for me so far. Spoilt by some silly side quests involving carrying boxes and some silly timed jump sections. Apart from that a very enjoyable game indeed
