Black Widow (and Gamora presumably) are dead. Gone and dead. No take backsies. Banner even says he tried to bring Nat back during his snap but couldn't. Presumably as it was part of the "price" the soul stone demanded.

As for not snapping Tony back? Too risky maybe? Someone would have to use the stones....

I don't believe they've suggested you can bring anyone who has died back to life at any point. Just those snapped by the stones.

Also, they make it pretty clear that Black Widow (and Gamora's) sacrifice is final and can't be reversed.

Ok, fair enough. Good answers, guys!

We don’t know. The fact they didn’t show her being snapped and Peter looking at her profile on the ship makes me think they’re setting up GOTG 3.

I would love it if Thor is a main character in GOTG3, he is the best thing about the MCU. Hemsworth is a fantastic comic actor, his delivery is just superb. That last scene with him and Quail I mean Quill

They really missed a comedic beat not having a scene where Quill reacts to Thor having gotten fat.

I think Thor in GOTG3 is a given based on that set up. How long he hangs about I don't know though, especially with talk of Thor 4 as well.

Regardless, I just want more Korg.

Is there anything I’ve missed beyond Banner saying it doesn’t work like other movies and the Ancient one talking about branched timelines. Are there two branched timelines now? The original MCU and now MCU up to 2014 then no Thanos.

As with most things it probably makes zero sense if you try and analyse it. I just figure that when Tony clicked his fingers, it undid all of the problems/split timelines caused by past Thanos coming into the future. The only thing Stark couldn’t do was use the Infinity Stones to send the Stones themselves back in time, which is why Cap had to manually return them later on.

This was my assumption yeah. Iron Man’s click essentially restored the balance - Thanos melting could’ve just restored him to 2014 with his memories of jumping forward in time removed.

Yeah, I also figured that Iron Man’s snap restored balance and only affected those loyal to Thanos but I’m aware that’s probably some Olympic level stretching on my part for that to make any sense. :slol:

After Thor 1 and 2 I would have been happy if they got rid of him.

But Ragnarok, Infinity War and Endgame have turned him into the best (after Korg) character.

Loki escaping could mean trouble as it screwed up the events in Thor 2.

Quite insightful though, to be fair.

Really want to go and watch this again, I reckon there's loads of little easter eggs that I missed the first time round.
