Went to see this earlier today. On the whole, a very enjoyable film that really does feel like and ending to the current set of Marvel/Avengers films. The last fight was immense, was amazing see Captain America pick up Thor’s hammer (not even going to try and butcher its name ), only bit that almost had me welling up was when Tony had used the stones and people gather round him just before he dies. I thought it was a lovely end for Captain America as well. Only person I didn’t recognise at the funeral scene was the male who it panned on before it went to Captain Marvel and Nick Fury, should I recognise him?

I did really enjoy it, no plans on a second viewing yet though. I think I actually slightly preferred Infinity War to Endgame., not much in it mind.

I didn't really like that cameo at the funeral. It was too obscure and took you out of the moment trying to work out who it was. It would have been better if they'd him in the background to be spotted rather than panning to him for an emotional shot with everyone scratching their head.

Then again Iron Man 3 is one of the weakest of all the MCU films, only Thor 2 really trails behind it, so I barely remember much in the way of specifics about it besides the Iron Man armour being utter bobbins in it.

Are you getting mixed up with Iron Man 2, which was very poor and generally considered one of the worst? IM3 was pretty good really.

My postie and I usually have a nice wee chat about films and that whenever he delivers a parcel, and I knew he was really looking forward to this. Answered the door to him yesterday, told him I thought Endgame was awesome and was subjected to a good 5-7 minute rant about how much he hated it

What was quite amusing was when he practically shouted "and what was the point of having Iron Man dying?" just as a bunch of school kids walked past on their lunch break. The looks he got!

Anyway, I loved it. Was almost bursting with joy during so many bits of the final battle. An near perfect end to an 11 year saga.

I thought it was pretty great. I think I preferred the stuff at the beginning to the end massive fight scene. Hulk and Thor were the stand out characters for me. I think I'd just like to watch a non-superhero fat Thor movie. I thought he was the most relatable character in the movie TBH.

Iron Man 2 is saved by having Hammer

I always thought it was a shame that Hammer didn't feature in any of the other MCU films, he could have been a decent multi-film villain, mainly due to Rockwell's performance. They should have at least carried him across into IM3. IM3 was shite.

Wasn't Hammer in one of the short films they did when Ben Kingsley character was in prison? Wouldn't be surprised to see him back at some point since Hammer Industries was built up as a rival to Stark Industries and that's always something they can use.
