It seems that some Xbox users are getting account bans due to their console uploading steamy scenes from Baldur's Gate III.

Part of the issue is that, apparently, Xbox consoles are set to automatically upload film clips by default. If you wish to turn off the auto upload feature:

VG247.com wrote:...you’ll need to: “press the Xbox button (on your controller) to open the guide, then go to Profile & system > Settings > Preferences > Capture & share > Automatically upload”. There you should find the means to toggle automatic uploading off.

Already turned that off long ago. I hate games that auto save clips. Such arrogance. Thankfully few do it these days.

On PS5 a prompt appears on screen for some games at certain points notifying you that recording has been temporarily turned off, does that not exist on Xbox Series?

To me if you don't want copyrighted material or 'mature content' (they mean TITS) recorded then you build that into the system by default.

I find it ridiculous that 'adult content' from a game MICROSOFT THEMSELVES have authorised as acceptable to publish/sell on their console can then get someones account banned for uploading unsuitable content.

Especially when Microsoft's console did it automatically.

The full story is so Kafkaesque, some dude made 3 seperate clips of the sex scenes, it uploaded them automatically and counted as 3 seperate infractions and was immediately banned haha.
