I really dislike the SkyBet advert with Jeff Stelling spinning about in his chair watching loads of football matches on these giant screens - he looks like a confused old man and I just generally can't strawberry floating stand gambling adverts, they're so gross.

I really hate the Vision Express adverts with the mole because it just makes me think of Mark Francois.

"Next door got burgled last night!"

"Oh dear, are they okay?" "That could've been us, better get an alarm fitted."

My wife noticed it originally and if that isn't a clear barometer of the state of this selfish country I don't know what is...

I like to assume that when he says "That could've been us," he's unsure whether they were responsible for braking into the house or not.

The latest Postcode Lottery commercial, where a group of people (that are actually celebrities, but are so minor league a couple of viewers per million may just about be able to name Jeff Brazier & that's it) have a fake conversation around the dinner table about Postcode Lottery.

The fact these people may actually show up at my house with a comedy cheque should I win puts me off playing, tbh.

The countless gambling ads that 'suggest' if you sign up you most likely always win...

I seriouslly doubt any minor celebs turn up at the door with a giant cheque.

Can't take that risk.

It is genuinely the reason I havnt signed up, I might give it a go but the thought of someone actually knocking on my doors makes it a hard no.

I've had more contact with Jeff Brazier when I haven't been playing the Postcode Lottery than when I have so I'm not worried about that. If they want me to sing Someone's Knocking at my Door, on the other hand, they can keep their money :dread:

Richard Ayoade selling his soul to HSBC in another cringy TV ad. A company known for laundering billions of dollars in drug money. Nice.

What makes it particularly cringy?
