Might I suggest Call on Me by Eric Prydz, and then we redo the music video so it’s just a load of flabby middle aged blokes doing aerobics?

This would be v easy to do using the source material for that song, e.g. slow this down a bit:

Ok, now we just need to find a tinkly old piano and a girl who looks as though a stiff breeze would knock her over.

I was going to suggest Happy by Pharrell Williams but it seems someones already done a sad version. It seems that I Got You (I Feel Good) by James Brown doesn't have a sad/depressing version yet so that could be a good choice.

You can't just refer to the track and not post itl! I went looking and found this cover on YouTube. It's not bad and makes me hear something different in the song but the miming and expressions are bad.

That is bang average.

Closest I can find but it's not all that sad/depressing.

I think it might be a song that is actually impossible to make it sound sad/depressing.

One thing we can agree on, though, is that all online "casino" ads are the worst, and that their recent damage control of "look how responsible we are" while taking no responsibility ever is even worse, right?

You don't like casinos? There's a very easy way to win you know.

The Starbucks 'my name is....' ad campaign.

I get the need to educate the average person about the issues trans people face but what in the name of living gooseberry fool does it have to do with coffee?

Corporate virtue signaling at its finest.

It helps to raise awareness. Yeah they gain too but so what, if they didn’t the reach of the subject would be considerably less.

I’ve seen that Starbucks advert twice now and I didn’t understand it. I asked someone else and they didn’t know what it was about either, so next time I see it I’ll now be watching it from a new perspective. Maybe it’s just one of those dull high concepts adverts I mentally tune out from (see also Nationwide).
