There's another series of wine adverts where somebody keeps going into an imaginary cellar to grab a bottle, and all the guests then look at this individual as if they're a twat.

I've never once felt like laughing when having a McDonald's

Laughing when eating a mcd's will likely lead to choking too.

I utterly despise that ad and everyone featured in it.

Also hate that sodding Ocado ad that sounds like something from a tv program for toddlers.

I miss the (first ever?) Ocado advert..... “I am the Ocado man, I bring shopping to your door...”. Was quite catchy back in the day

I just saw the McDonald’s ad. It’s not that bad.

It is too long, though.

I do wonder whether ad companies hire ex apprentice contestants these days, I'm not sure there has ever been quite so many awful ads doing the rounds.

I always figured they were (at least sometimes) bad on purpose in order to get people talking about how bad they are, since ultimately you're then still talking about the thing that's being advertised.

I'm pretty sure though, that the only decent ad on tv now is the AA one with the dog and fan.

Not seen it, but they were responsible for the lip syncing toddler advert so they're still bound for the cleansing fires.

There's another 'lip syned toddler' ad doing the rounds atm, for some government backed business loan scheme.

Its abominable.

There's one for Boost Energy that I've seen on tv that looks really low-budget and reminds me of something straight out of The Apprentice.

The Volvo advert with the couple who have been surfing (i think) and go back to the car only for one of them to find that she has lost the keys! But its ok, the other one has them, and makes a big point of it, before looking smug and drinking a warm tea (perhaps) from a flask.

Secretly directed by Wes Anderson and you can't convince me otherwise
