The American ads that have started appearing are really winding me up, first there's the one for some instant mashed potatoes with two nasally voiced women and yesterday I saw one for Toilet Duck which has been mostly re-dubbed with a British English voiceover until the last few seconds where it reverts to full on Americanese for the "FC Jawnson, a faymily cormpany" bit at the end

What is it with all these TV commercials with slowed-right-down cover versions of songs, the latest batch being Airbnb.

Pay for the original or sod off, basically.

Look, I'm really sorry if this has been said before, but I tried looking back a few pages and didn't see it.

Then I tried the search function, and there were 177 mentions of Snoop Dogg.

Checked a few of them, tired myself out.

Anyhow, I really can't stand him going on and on about Just Eat. Chicken wings to the crib indeed. What a whopper.

And no, I didn't say juuust eaaat.

Get stuffed, snoopy snoopy dog dog.

There's an obesity crisis, for one thing, probably 100% because of your catchy jingles, you massive flipping belltower stupid sunglasses wearing nobber.

I'm pretty sure the guy was a massive nobber even before he got involved with those dreadful ads.

I don't think I've ever seen or heard anything about him where he doesn't come across as a massive, massive twat.

Worst advert currently is one that seems to have re-appeared - the Cupra one with the gormless-sounding person reading unbelievably gooseberry fool spoken word. Who sees these adverts and thinks "yep, that's good, release it". :dread: :fp:

Peloton have been taking the piss for over a year now and their latest effort might be the worst with that strawberry floating irritating Celeste song which it feels like they play the entirety of. The very worst adverts of the last year. strawberry float off Peloton.

Peloton's pricing takes the piss. Had a look into it about a year ago thinking it sounded like a nice idea.

£2k for the bike and then a reocurring £50 a month for membership! Get to strawberry float with that gooseberry fool.

I don't know why it's so annoying but there's a Coca-Cola advert with loads of short clips of figures saying Yes or No mashed together, and it plays on every single advert break during football matches before I go out to make a drink at half time.

It's a shorter version of this one from their Spanish speaking markets:

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:
