Richard is generally a funny guy, but here it feels terribly forced because banks just aren't funny.

The bank of Ant n Dec (Santander); the latest commercial they put a door inside the office. As if they weren’t rich enough they had to start flogging a bank.

I saw an Yves Saint Laurent advert yesterday that ended with "Happy holidays!".

strawberry float. RIGHT. OFF.

It's bad enough that they've imported that Black Friday nonsense, without trying to make us celebrate a holiday we don't even get.

We've already had vacation creep in under the cloak of staycation ( :x )

I think I heard someone from the UK refer to Autumn as Fall too :x

I'm amazed they've not tried to make thanksgiving a thing here considering how quickly everyone took to buy a tv made with costed down parts that I don't need day.

Keep seeing that Sauvage Dior ad with Johnny Depp playing a guitar in the desert, and it raises a number of important questions.

1. He has a working guitar with lots of sound equipment and wires, but no power source to plug anything into because he's in the middle of the sodding desert, so how is he making music?
2. Why is a confirmed wife beater still flogging expensive perfume?..

...and lastly 3. Was it him or Amber Heard who shat in their bed?

I can't believe how many companies these days go down the 'wanky cover version' route for music in their adverts. It's almost every advert - can't be arsed to pay for the rights to the original music, so use some god-awful cover version that's invariably a slowed down, acoustic guitar or piano led version. They're all terrible, so any ad break is usually an instant mute on the remote from me. Like the trend of using spoken word and crap poetry in all of the bank and building society adverts. Who comes up with this utter gooseberry fool :fp:

I guess they're standing by him because it's pretty clear at this point that Depp is the victim of an abusive relationship.

I wouldn't be surprised if it's an American advert talking about the NFL and they've repurposed it.

I hate how the puppet version of Snoop Dogg Just Eat advert has come back but cut up and completely out of sync.

If you crank up the subwoofer you can actually hear management asking if you really need to use all of your vacation days!

Probably not. I think she would have taken my mind off the annoyance.
