lol yeah i agree but now you have its rival the poppy lottery all the people are annoying and fake the cabbie and that stupid scouse woman "maybe i will see you down the shops treat yourself" LOL really by doing a lottery where the chances of winning are slim and if you do win its only a tenner every 6 or 12 months if your lucky bit like the postcode lottery. Which rarely ever had big win outs in my area and down south always up north it seems

The mini cheddars ad that's recently started airing.

I've seen it twice and already hate it.

The Adobe creative cloud advert does my head on, the song was on another advert and if strawberry floats me off when I hear it it is associated with hat other advert, not that I remember what the product was but I know it was used elsewhere so yeah.

They ran their course right around the time of the first plush toy.

I'd rather the meerkats than the bloody Go Compare guy. They killed him off for a while and then they BROUGHT HIM BACK. :|

I never used to mind either the GoCompare or Meerkat adverts back in the day (the only really irritating bit of the Meerkats one is the SEEMPLES catchphrase). Then I found out that not only is the GoCompare guy a massive Spurs fan, he's also a massive Tory, and now I genuinely hate his strawberry floating smug face :slol:

Not on TV but I'm seeing a low of sponsored ads on YouTube essentially lying about Sadiq Khan from the conservatives to try and get a Tory mayor in place.

They're complaining about the crime rates going up, but ignoring the fact that central government which they control is cutting funding to the police and staff and have been for almost a decade.

I even reported it it was so strawberry floating stupid.

Microsoft Teams, the one about “helping” Hasbro develop Monopoly games, it’s on TV and Spotify non stop, it may be the first advert that I can say I truly hate, I’m not sure what it is about it but I really can’t stand it

A quick google suggests they did.

After the '86 Cleveland Balloonfest I imagine it was planned immaculately.

Its a great example of an ad that worked great on terrestrial TV but wouldn't work in modern times now everything is streams as the bandwidth needed to cleanly transmit all those moving balls is insane in HD, its why I wish they would stop using confetti cannons and things on shows, they just look like gooseberry fool as well as being messy as hell.

Not sure I follow - they would still just release all the balls into the street, only the cameras would be better nowadays.
