I tend to record tv programes now so I avoid having to watch them, but that Just Eat ad is so darn annoying.

I know the Welsh use "lush" but do they use "gert" as well?

It's not just Bristol, the term 'gert' is used around these parts too.

Many a time i've heard people say 'gert big 'un' in order to describe something large.

Yeah the lush part, whilst definitely registering on the annoy-o-tron, is not the problem here!

Definitely needs a 'flip the bird' option.

'Gert' is only acceptable in Somerset.

I will not be taking questions.

Not true, people are often highly impressed with the size of my souvenir fridge magnet collection.

Speaking of which, it's been strangely quiet in there lately, well, apart from the tumble dryer obviously.

I am roughly 3 miles from the somerset border, so it's perfectly acceptable around these parts too.
