If I hear that bloody “look at me now look at you” google phone advert I will probably pay for YouTube premium.

It also put me off the phone - I was beginning to consider leaving iPhones as well but not after that.

Do companies realise that terrible adverts can drive people away? There are cars that I would avoid for the nauseating adverts and brand management crap.

I’m getting old and grumpy really.

Saw a really jolly ad break last night, was channel hopping when i ended up on a doc on some random channel about the history of the USSR.

There was nothing else, so i stuck with it and it was decent enough, but then the ad break came.

First i had sad looking sick kiddiewinks in the hospital demanding my donations, then it cut straight to funeral services from the co op, before continuing with life insurance ads (though tbh, i'm surprised the insurance ad came after the funeral one, someone messed that up for sure).

Happiest ad break ever.

It makes Stalin's great purge seem like comedy.

Brezhnev's economic stagnation was a hoot in comparison.

You Tube Premium is amazing. I have it now for about 3 years and use it far more than any other streaming service.

That stupid one that keeps popping up on my YouTube with the teacher worrying about licking the yoghurt lid.

Run a spoon edge along the lid and the whole lot will come off in one go. It's not rocket surgery. Not even fit to teach smh.

OH MY strawberry floating GOD THIS.

This has been annoying me for months. I can only imagine they've gone for the mobile game ad tactic of doing something so gooseberry fool everyone talks about it.

Years ago I had a season ticket at Wigan Athletic and they'd sing along to the Great Escape theme. It was all "dadadadadaaaa" until the last two beats when they squeezed in "ATH-LET-IC" - YOUR TOWN IS TWO SYLLABLES WHY ARE YOU DOING THIS TO ME IT ACTUALLY HURTS

They've been using that one since at least the 80s.

You're not the only one who hated it, they've now reissued the ad with kitten noises dubbed over it instead.
