Alternatively I used to live in a flat where the kitchen and living room shared the same space, so I actually did do that. :slol: :fp:

But no, with a separate kitchen I won't put a TV in there. What's the point?

I put a podcast on, or sometimes a longer form youtube video if it's the kind of cooking where you can take breaks while you wait for things.

This is pretty much the same concept as background TV isn't it?

It's not background, I would put it on in the kitchen if I can pay attention to it between cooking tasks. I don't put it on whilst consuming another form of media, like reading or playing a game.

We should migrate GRcade to Flarum. :toot:

Tenable is better than Tipping Point.

Tenable is proper cringe-y viewing when you get a really badly organised team, too. The guys yesterday was so bad :slol:

I like the concept of Tenable but the combination of Warwicks hideous puns and the horribly slow pace which the answers get added to the list make it unbearable to watch.

The teams are nearly always annoying pricks too.

Great British Menu used to be good but this latest series sucks ass. The music used through out it for the judging is annoying as strawberry float and its running thru the entire program which i don't think it did previously. It's format is cheesy and old now. For example when the give their scores and opinions on each dish the music changes for something positive weather, its a piano jingle or is different when they say they need to adjust it, there is a different music effect. Its rather cliche and does not add suspense or anything its naff
