Ngl I was expecting to be lynched so many times that I just thought I'd go all out to try and convince the supers it wasn't worth killing me when they might be able to get a lynch on me.
Pity my record on accusations was so poor though, was Luke just a random hit in the end?

I just read through the death discussion thread, seems a lot of people were convinced I was an Alpha, but no I was just a lowly human who had no idea what he was doing

I somehow found myself being contacted by both seers even though neither of them fully trusted me, and everyone I was in contact with kept getting killed, I'm surprised there wasn't a bigger push to lynch me at any point.

Cheers Drum, Great game and you ran it very well!

The auto-inactive cull was a huge success IMO and should be part of every game. I imagine it was hard to keep track so I would suggest in future that it be left to the players to notice if someone is inactive and the person running the game can then take action if notified.

I liked the lack of mayoral protection. There was still voting and nominations to keep the thread active, but it didn't lead to any game-breaking trust circles.

Multiple baddie factions was a nice twist. I love when things aren't explained and have to be figured out, so not knowing if the factions were working together, how many in each group, and if there were alphas, all added something to the game. The lack of Alphas would have been hugely exploitable if it had somehow been discovered early on, but it wasn't and so worked well as a one-off twist.

I'd love to know what happened to make the Supers suddenly chose PPM and PCCD (seemingly at random it seems now) when us three humans were trusted and had received rewards from the expedition.
The only thing I can guess is that they weren't concerned about humans and wanted to find other supers from the opposing team, and that it was just coincidence.

Herbi was a special role hunch one night.
PPM was a hunch the next.
PCCD the same night was the Wolves so I'm not sure.

It was sheer coincidence.

We'd been talking about PMM having a role for a few days.

I think we first started getting suspicious when we worked out that a seer would have known about one of the wolves (Frank maybe) being a wolf before one of the lynch votes and before it was public knowledge in the thread so we were looking through the list of people who had voted for him. PMM was on that list with a few other people we killed before.

Ive just looked through the death discussion thread.

I cant believe I was the only one who saw that block vote in the draw? I honestly dont think anyone was reading my posts. I listed the remaining vampires for you. Did everyone seriously not understand that?

On the Friday night I really suspected Nun - He was playing so well he really, far too well. It came up as a draw and I spotted that there was 2 block votes - Edd, Nun and Rightey against Dangerblade, Rocsteady and Tomous. Because Ironhide said he would have killed Dangerblade, I knew that I had to kill one of the other group to be sure which one was the set of three vampires. So I though Nun would be a good one to go for to break up that group. I really though Dangerblade was going to get lynched.

Me and Pedz had been taking it in turns to order the kill, often PMing in advance. We had already put in a kill for Nun. When there was the draw result I realised we had to wait to see who actually got killed before we sent out vote. I pmed Drumstick to withdraw the vote - he accepted. I pmed Pedz to say what I had done, about the block that I saw and that we should wait to kill until after the lynch. I also said that I think Dangerblade was going to get lynched so Nun will probably be a good bet to kill.

The lynch result came in, Edd - Human. I knew that means we should now kill dangerblade. I thought i should PM drumstick and pedz to kill dangerblade. But whats this picture of a pool of blood? Pedz must have misunderstood and he already killed Nun.

I really dont understand why you were suspicious of me when I listed the vampires for you. - and then you didnt see that Tomous was obviously a vampire.

And then Sawyerpip and Ironhide. Did you not understand that vampire block vote?

Well done Drumstick for running the game. the amulet protection was good and it was perhaps even better when pancake lost it. I think that gave a periodic bonus and then it was timely removed. It was similar to one of DMLs wolf games in the star trek setting were the captains cabin blew up part way through.

The inactive cull was good too.

The multiple factions made the game interesting and difficult at the same time.

I had a lot of fun this time around.

Image
I didn't actually rig the vote against Qikz, the majority wanted him dead by themselves.

Image
My crowning achievement however was rigging the vote on Day Two and then Errkal going on to live for aaaaages afterwards.

Errkal..

Yeah :fp:

To be fair, we both immediately revealed all in the thread once PPM and PCCD were killed (you actually beat me to it). It just seemed too much of a coincidence to not be a leak.

It was also before it was obvious that there were no alphas, and that the wolves and vampires weren't working together.

Dangerblades tie vote included the three of dangerblade, tomous and rocsteady along with the two of you and pedz.

It's a lot more obvious from the inside when you know you and another are part of one team, leaving the remaining three. It also didn't help I was out most of the weekend and so was not following the thread properly. Yeah we probably (definitely) should have picked it up again today, but we made the right decision in the end.

I think the only person who actually understood the logic of that vampire block vote that I was posting, was Rightey. The one person that I didnt need to understand it.

I asked this in thread - How was I suspicious?

Have just caught up on The Death Thread now that I've realised it's not a celebrity death sweepstake. Not too much suspicion on our Vampire faction until the end which is good.

In retrospect perhaps myself, Dangerblade and Rocsteady should have pushed the "there could be alphas in the seered humans" angle. It seemed obvious to me that one in each faction would be overkill but obviously when you know the information it's different. Saying that, after there was suspicion of a leak, I did try to steer the thread in that direction but it was difficult to do and we didn't want to have all 3 of us involved as it could be traced back. It also seemed like there was a lot of trust left between the seered humans, except in Satriales...

From my point of view, and I don't want to blame SD64 for getting himself inactive killed but the most infuriating time was when we were desperately trying to cut the list of seered humans down and I kept thinking if we only had 2 kills we could destroy it in 2 nights... It was especially frustrating when we realised the wolves were going for unseered humans and gunning for us (I guess because we had the numerical advantage over them at that point). A few people in the thread couldn't understand why we were targeting seered humans at the time but we had the end game in mind and were trying to avoid a situation where we'd just have seered humans and supers left.

The thing is, I picked up on the block vote of Edd, Nun and Rightey who were along with yourself and rhubarb - both seered humans. I realised that was mirrored by the otherside of the vote (dangeblade, rocsteady and tomous) - yes insider knowledge, but when Pedz got killed as a wolf I could point it out with my claim as a human.
