Yeah the only thing that I didn't like was that the fact the mayor rotated between Mocky and TAP. Made the game really boring, same thing happened in the Mafia game when Denny and Drummy did it. For the mafia/vamps it just became a game of "get the witch doctor" which it really shouldn't.

Worst bad guys ever vs Best Villagers - well played.

I was trying to 'act up' to seem suspicious - so I would be kept alive - its my only chance of going far in these games! It nearly worked - so heartbreakingly close to victory!

:(

As I have already said - I have a new game in the works that ISN'T AYAW? at all but has some things in common. The players have grown too advanced for the current game. Me and Sykes have already discussed possible changes that should be implemented into future Werewolves.

Brilliant job running it Sykes - you were better then that StayDead bloke...

Oh and one more thing.

strawberry float YOU ZENI. FUUUUCKK YOU. :x Audacity to call ME rubbish after your dismal showing! Craptacular!

It wouldn't be hard to address that issue at all. You could do any of the following:

- No immunity for the mayor
- Put a limit on how often any one player can be mayor in a week
- Make it so the Witchdoctor can only protect the same person a certain amount of times, or simply make their protections limited to four/five/whatever and then he becomes a regular player like a vigilante.

I resent being called being the worst bad guys ever, we were very unlucky. Plus the Villagers were given vital information in that we had been picked.

I was tempted to tweak the Witch Doctor into a farmer who handed out garlic which made a player invincible to a single Vampire attack for the rest of the game, but I was a bit worried as it was about game balance. I approve of the limited mayorship one the most though.

strawberry float you then, traitor. :x

I'm pretty sure I named Zellery in one of my PMs, although obviously without much conviction. I don't think any of my picks for the killings actually ever got killed.

Although fair play on the Dalax thing, I was wondering how you's ended up getting him.

What was the vamps' opinion of my hissy fit?

The game wasn't unbalanced at all - its just is was an absolute utter landslide - and you can't go changing the rules half way through.

It just became obvious that GR is now full of very sophisticated AYAW players and the game needs to be altered slightly to accommodate that. There was absolutely nothing wrong with the tactics used, until the Count died, the Vamps could still win.

I tend to work out a rough calendar where I am going to put in the occassional 'event' PRIOR to the game starting. SO for instance I might know that on Day Four - its going to four players up for a double lynch, or something mysterious will happen Day Eight etc. The reasonm this is done is to make sure it is fair for both sides of the coin, I'm not making decisions based on what has happened.

The only small mistake Sykes made was the Vigi kill going through AFTER the Vigi had died. Vamp kills take presidence over Vigis in the night phase - but other than that he was excellent. I put the Vamps failure down to an absolute diabolical choice of Vamps by Wiggles who basically chose ALL the names! No wildcards at all...

Thanks Sykes for running the whole Shindig, was nice to be involved in one of these rather than look at the thread and wonder what it was all about.

My apologies to the TAP/Mocky alliance though. I was doubting that it could all go so well and with seemingly little resistance to your plans - it was almost too good to be true. My stirrings towards Mocky being the possible count were slightly fuelled by the fear of immense embarrassment if we were getting a good doing over from the inside.

Alas, I was miles off with my assumptions as I was with many of my other thoughts. :fp:

Still, as a first time player I had no knowledge of most of you experienced players so will put knowledge gained in the tank. Next time, hopefully I can be of more use.

gg all. :)

Just got back and caught up on the thread. Thought we had two villagers up for nomination today. Well played villagers

I felt really bad for Songwriter in the end - we kept accusing him and he was just trying to live his life and play the game when he had spare time - so much so that I didn't vote to lynch him. :fp:

A few apologies - to PCCD, and HM, I'm sorry I made you hate me. DangChris, I'm sorry I underestimated you.

Also a few thanx - Psykes obviously, well done sir. DarkRitual for his dossiers. TAP and Mocky for playing the game so very, very well. All the vampires for being good sports. Everyone who I ever threw suspicion on, for not scathing me.

This was my first time playing AYA? and it was pretty damn cool. 8-)

*Ahem*...

Also, massive thanks to Psykes for a great game. Really enjoyed it. :D

Oh yeah, forgot about Dark Ritual. Awesome effort with the dossiers and my apologies for the suspicions. One of my many low points. :fp:
