RulesWe all accuse each other, a couple of people go over the top with abuse and then someone shoots Denster.
Seriously though...
There are Vampires and Villagers in the game. For the Vampires to win they have to reach a point where their numbers are equal or greater than the village population remaining. For the Villagers to win they must eliminate and kill every single Vampire.
You will have all recieved a Private Message stating your role and information about it. DO NOT SHOW/FORWARD/COPY AND PASTE YOUR ROLE MESSAGE TO ANYONE. If you do then I will have to intervene, potentially punishing you and your allies.
Vampires will know each others identities from the start, but villagers are going to be on their own as individuals to begin with. Forging partnerships is the way to victory for the human population, but be careful who you trust.
RolesVillager - A human with no ability. The majority of players fit into this category. Even without any great power you can still play a key role in the game through voting for lynches, mayor and pointing the finger at potential Vampires.
Seer - A seer is a villager with mental gifts that allow them to scan another person once a night to figure out their true identity.
However other roles may exist within this village...
The Count - The Head Vampire, from whom all other vampires are chosen and born. Should the villagers be able to eliminate him, the brood will be weakened and have to miss one night of kills. Sadly for the villagers, his immense charm allows him to pass himself off as an ordinary villager, even when scanned by Seers.
Vampire - The Vampires are mean and thirsty for blood. Working with each other in secret to plot the villagers downfall, they are aiming to kill each and every one of you. And they will kill, every night.
TimetableThe game will begin with a first kill from the vampires. The following will then roll into motion.
Morning: People will campaign for Mayorship based on their suspicions, other peoples posts and paranoia.
By 2PM: Each day the Village should have elected a Mayor who will nominate who will be lynched that day.
By 6PM:
The Mayor should have PM'd me their two candidates for the lynch and announce them in the thread. Mayors are under no obligation to nominate the people they said they would during the voting process, as has been demonstrated several times before.
Before 8PM: People will PM their votes for the lynch to me.
At 8PM (Or thereabouts): I will announce in the thread who has been lynched and their role. Villagers will...
[ ] Swear
[ ] Blame the mayor
[ ] Blame someone else
[ ] All of the above
[ ] Rejoice
Before 10PM: The Vampires, Seers and any other night time roles will PM me with what they want to do.
Timetable may be changed when needed.
A couple of final tidbits...
First night, the Vampires will only claim one victim. Thereafter it will be three victims per night. If a Vampire is killed then it's down to two kills a night, if two vampires are killed it's down to one kill per night for the rest of the game. If The Count is killed then the Vampires will rest for one night to recover and be down to one kill after.
Mayors cannot be killed in the night. People up for lynch cannot vote.
Night roles such as the Seer only come into play after the first full days play by the Villagers.
If the Vampires win, all of them win, even those caught and slaughtered by the villagers. Death is no obstacle to a win for a Vampire. If a Villager is killed, then they have lost.
If you are dead, no more posting in the thread or getting involved with the game or there may be dire consequences.
If you fail to post for a lengthy period of time, get abusive with other players or attempt to screw up the game, I may just become crazed with power and boot you out.
Any questions feel free to ask in the thread, by PM or on MSN PsychicSykes at hotmail.com.
Carpe Diem or Carpe Jugulum? Let the game begin...
