Once I saw how to do it, I was annoyed with myself for not thinking about trying it that way.

Some levels click straight away, but others have just annoyed me so much I've switched the game off because of it. One of them I switched it off and then suddenly realised how to do it.

Level Island - Extra 3: Tiny Isle is the one I'm currently stuck on.

I had literally loaded up YouTube but then I stopped myself. I *know* that the solution can't be that difficult.

Boulder Dash :toot: . Rockford  .

Yeah, I just spent another 40 minutes on it... I reckon I've spent at least an hour-and-a-half trying to figure it out :fp: . I can get in and push the "win" word out, but I don't have an opportunity to build the sequence "bolt is win"... because "move" is in an unmovable placing.

Just taking a break now!

It sounds like you were trying what we were over and over. You get locked in to a train of thought that you need to take a step back from. Just don't look it up, because you rob yourself of that satisfaction and also the facepalm moment of realising how simple it really is.

I think we also spent an hour and a half on and off trying to get it.

Oh that one’s lovely, both the puzzle and the solution.

Ha, just solved a level by creating an infinite loop.

Then immediately solved the following level and now I'm stuck again.

We finished the second area now and have moved on to the temple ruins set (we're doing everything before moving on, not just the required amount).

The Mrs had a couple of inspired ideas tonight which solved a couple we'd been stuck on for a while, and in turn I managed to solve another few that were stumping us early on. Turns out a fresh look at them and trying to break out of trying the same thing was key (or rock amirite).

Great to sit and work puzzles out together, just like the witness

Speaking of the witness, I like (and hate ) how this pulls the trick of letting you solve a puzzle with the only possible solution, then gives you the extra version which stops that one and only way of doing it, gives you the same stuff and asks you to do it again now smartass. But when you DO do it :datass:

I did it

This is really great. So so clever, even if it does look a bit underwhelming, though that doesn't really matter.

Well done! I don’t know how I feel about the aesthetics to be honest. I thought he soundtrack was bobbins until I listened a bit more closely (apart from the robot world where it is actually bobbins), and the graphics are nothing special but I think they fit the game pretty well. I can certainly see why someone (e.g. Karl) might not like them, but they’ve grown on me.

Just fired this back up in between MUA3 sessions after having not played it for a couple of weeks, on the Lake section and have levels 10, 11 and 13 to complete......looked at all 3 and mines is just WUT

Wondering if I should maybe start again from the beginning but I don’t think it would make much difference.

We've gone back to this, up to 92 levels complete now. Some of the concepts introduced lately have just been mental.

absolutely not, stop asking this wrote:I do want this and will probably get it soon but I just know it's going to piss me off much in the same vein as Stephen's Sausage Roll.

There's not much beating the feeling of accomplishment from beating a fiendish level though in these kind of games so it kind of balances out

...after beating the first couple of areas I was right
