That's not too much of a problem, deciding between two excellent games. Even though it's not my type of game, I got hooked on Stardew just watching someone else play it, for crying out loud. There's a reason this game has been near the top of the download charts since it launched.

Stardew is good
Baba is next
Ironhide is win

This is great in 'co-op' with two people working on the puzzles. Great fun.

50 levels done now. The words 'you sneaky bastard' uttered on at least 20 of them.

I've also just bought Octopath Traveller as it is currently an acceptable price on Steam (£35 instead of £49.99) so that's another 80+ hours of gaming to look forward to.

Baba >> Octopath. Mind you, the latter doesn’t exactly require a lot of mental exertion: the two might work quite well together.

I was thinking the same. Good to have another less taxing game to play alongside whilst your brain secretly whirrs away in the background trying to solve the puzzles for you

I have Lapis x Labyrinth which is quite satisfyingly braindead in its execution.

I actually find it a bit frustrating when my partner tries to help me with Baba puzzles. :slol:

Mini-review: I obviously hate how the game is presented (hi OR) but the concept and puzzles themselves are clever and mostly pretty fun.

I put in a couple hours and can see how it's building up the complexity. I look forward to getting back to it when I have more free time.

I do want this and will probably get it soon but I just know it's going to piss me off much in the same vein as Stephen's Sausage Roll.

There's not much beating the feeling of accomplishment from beating a fiendish level though in these kind of games so it kind of balances out

What don't you like about the presentation? :(

But, hang on, I'm a genius again!

Until I become a doofus once more.

What a brilliant game this is so far, I can see myself losing hours in it.

This sums up my time with this game perfectly.

It's probably one of my favourite looking games I've played this year

Dang it, Baba is wrecking my brain :x .

I've been stuck on "2 - Solitary Island - 06 - Research Facilty" for ages and I came *so* close to looking up the solution.

But... instead I'm gonna have another go.

Don't do it! As with the witness, you won't learn anything and hinder progress further on.

I also love the graphics, gives me boulderdash Amstrad nostalgia

I had to look that one up in the end as I thought I had tried everything and had no success. :x

Hah, after aaaages on 06 research facility, we just cracked it by thinking differently. It's actually really easy.
