Nah it's still as bad as it was. I played after they updated it and it's still pretty unfair. A real shame as well because I wanted to love this but it just isn't fun to play due to the difficultly spikes.
It's such a shame as they have the basis for what could be a great game but they decided to design it for masochists. There are so many examples of similar games where it has challenge ratings that can allow everyone to play not just the tryhards who insist that everything be a soul-crushing slog.
They can still have a couple of ultra nightmare modes for those people but the game also needs to cater to normal gamers and this just doesn't. Chalky, Fade and I played on easy and it was still annoyingly hard and super frustrating. I'm not going to claim we're pro gamers but we're at least average and if we're struggling then so will most and we ended up completing it and instantly being glad we'd never have to touch it again.
