I’ll be up for trying this at some point. Mrs is in the office this week doing her project management qualification so I am entertaining myself in the sofa with no gaming machine. Humph.

I might be able to get on in a bit. I have never played a L4D game before. I’m on Xbox.

I don't understand how the aiming in this is so bad.

There's either legitimate input lag or they've put the response curve really high for some reason, in a fast paced zombie shooter where you're constat switching targets.

It controls worse than Aliens Fire Team Elite! Really hope it gets fixed as it feels horrible.

I'm planning on playing this with a mate tonight. I dont wan't us being put in a team with random screaming racists (ie the general population).

Can someone explain how I close the party down to just the two of us and a couple of bots (/context)?

Or is that simply not possible? In which case I'm simply not going to play it.

Set up a private match and invite your mate, it will say 'searching' at bottom of the screen but it's actually searching for a server, not other players and it will start you with your friend and bots.

Thanks - I hoped that it would be that simple, but something in the GC review suggested it would still lump you in with randoms. I must have misread / misunderstood it.

Enjoyed playing this for a couple of hours last night. Seems like a fun time!

Downloaded today. Not tried it yet, but could get on it tonight, after 8 maybe.

I played nearly 3hours with my daughter and haven't found the time to try again but I/we like it a lot.

Sorry if already answered in this thread but is it possible to play on your own with just bots?

Yep there's a solo play option - but until it's patched you don't get any XP or progression in Single Player. The devs are working to change it.
