Mm! I don't know the details but I'm looking forward to finding out about it when I eventually do an evil run! Got to finish my good run first though! :slol:

This is my good run though.
I've been nice to everyone and avoided combat where I can and saved all.the kids and animals.
The people in the town worshipped the ground I walk on and all my companions love me to bits for being such a wonderful guy.

Then I made one mistake and let a cleric kill someone and bam, I'm pure evil.

Fucksticks.

Yeah, I'd have liked it if it had made it a bit more obvious that the Shadow Curse was like directly linked to Shar's power.

Maybe it did at some point and I just didn't clock onto it  But I got there thinking "look, she *has* to die for us to stand a chance against Ketheric. It's sad, but that's the way it goes."

And then accidentally caused a minor genocide

You mean you let SH kill Nightsong? Can't imagine why they were mad at you.

Btw I just realised whatever you do strawberry floats up Ketheric's power. Pretty clever writing.

I save scummed a few areas and it's kind of disappointing they often play out really similarly whatever you do, the Geth Crèche for example.

I love how the first person you talk to when you get to the city is a snot nosed little kid who asks you to find their mum.

Blasted their face off  (and then they auto revived :( )

I like that a party member can permanently quit if you do something important to their storyline without them. Effectively just saying "why was I not in your team?!"

I do wish there was some in-game reason justification for your party limit. Even something as hand wavey as "our brains would hurt too much from all the psychic worm connections" or something.

Yeah, it's a bit odd since you can summon a ton of extra units.

So I reloaded and fed that child some berries and they ended up coming to my camp, Nooooooo

I just killed Cazadoor and freed all the spawn as it seemed like the right thing to do. I thought that whole questline was great with some meaty moral choices.
I couldn't bring myself to kill so many innocent people even if they are vampires.

This game continues to be amazing  .

Has anyone else had any crash issues in Act 3? :shifty: Saved the game in Sorcerous Sundries(?), and now when I try and reload that save, the game crashes before it manages to load  Thankfully my previous save isn't too far back (like, I've gotta find Minsc again, and I think that's all, which is a relief. Was dreading it losing like 15 hours of gameplay). Saw someone on Reddit complaining about that shop, so maybe I just got unlucky. Will keep a bunch of saves active until I'm past it!

I don't know why but I have earmarked November as when I'm going to carry on and do act 3. It's been nice to have a brief break but do very much want to see this campaign off!

How long do people think it will be before this goes in a digital sale? I have never priced tracked a digital only game before. I'm guessing that keeps the price high for longer?

I'm not waiting for 50% off or anything, just a tenner or something, which, when combined with cheap shopto PSN credit, takes the sting out of the purchase a bit.

I'm just about to start the final battle.
I have loads of allies I can call but I plan to try and beat it with just my super team.

My main character is a Halfling Wizard called Bravestar
Shadowheart
Karlach
Astarion

I have that pile of crud the Emperor with me but I'm just using him as a lure.

I did a good play through that only had a smidgen of genocide like killing the entire goblin village or turning the Harpers into undead vermin who I then disaptched but on the whole a huge success all round. I had to kill Minsc as well which was a bit of a downer but he gave me no choice.
I do have a dog, cat and owlbear in my camp though so that makes up for the genocide.

Just finished this.

What a bloody fantastic game. I'm happy with my choices and think I got a pretty great ending.
I will certainly be giving this multiple playthroughs as there's plenty I missed.

An easy 10/10 and this is almost certain to be my game of the year.

Fumbling my way through Wyll's quest, think we managed to almost finish it last night:

That Iron Throne section is horrific  Freed all the hostages, but the three dwarf guys with their little legs still didn't make it back to the submarine before it all went down. Whoops! Should've probably looked into some spells for boosting people's run speeds, but we did our best.

Just before we went down I ended up romancing Mizora, too :slol: Was fully expecting Wyll to have a big old go at me for being so stupid, and he's literally just "don't do that again" and that's it  Can't believe she still tried to kill the Duke off, though. I thought we had something special

That bit is a bitch but fun.
I managed to save everyone but had no time to loot anything.

I saved all the prisoners but I had to sacrifice my entire party except for my custom character. It was an easy decision since I knew Withers could just revive them :slol:

You monster

I didn't realise that it'd be that easy to get them back, I thought it'd be like a proper permadeath. Ended up with Shadowheart like two foot from the final ladder into the sub and nearly restarted the whole section. I love how Mizora still sticks around in camp too, despite us foiling her plan to kill off the Duke (for now)

Finished off the Astarion questline last night. Very glad I saved it during the final conversation, since picking the wrong choice at the start seemed to lock me out of any sort of persuasion check :fp: Wasn't about to do all that hard work for my vampire buddy to end up killing him off because he's too power hungry

I love how if you just stand in front of the beams in the boss chamber the character who's blocking the beam ends up with the bonus he's sapping off the spawns instead of him.
