Thanks to this thread, I now know to never ever go to the toilet at Mommy's house. Because there's a reason he has obtained so many indoor cameras :dread:

DPD have got the Ring cameras in black (ordered 1) and they're scheduled to be delivered tomorrow, but no movement on the white.

The sale of these will make a massive difference to me this month as I've gone and broken a tooth (cost: £155) on a roast potato. It probably wasn't actually the roast potato, but insert your own jokes about it being massively overcooked here...

Put the tooth under your pillow tonight. With a bit of luck, when you wake, there will be another roast potato there in the morning.

I didn't know about the black cameras so only ordered one set of the white ones.

Just got an e-mail that it's been cancelled due to it being a mistake on the website. Ah well.

Hi there,

We have had to cancel your 2-Pack Indoor Cam order due to the items being mistakenly displayed on ring.com with an incorrect price. If you are still interested in purchasing, please re-order these items on our website if available.

If you have any questions, please call us: https://support.ring.com/hc/en-gb/articles/360036196372

Thank you for your understanding,
The Ring Team

From the Ring ToS -

Your order will be considered as a contractual proposal to Ring to buy the Product(s) or Service(s) listed in your order, each of them considered individually. When you place an order to purchase a Product from Ring, after we receive your order, we will send you an e-mail confirming receipt of your order and containing the details of your order (the “Order Confirmation”). The Order Confirmation does not confirm acceptance of your offer to buy the Product(s) ordered. The Order Confirmation is a mere acknowledgement that we have received your order and that we have submitted it to a process of data verification and availability of the Product(s) ordered by you. We only accept your offer, and conclude the contract of sale for a Product ordered by you, when we send you a separate e-mail for acceptance, which will also contain information relating to the dispatch of the product to you and the expected date of delivery (the "Dispatch Confirmation").

I think we may have a case here.

Edit: Got in touch with Customer services, who were helpful, but having none of it. The cameras were ready for dispatch when they realised the error. Probably from the influx of orders for white cameras (they were dispatched from a different company to the black ones).

Gutted I ordered white ones. Didn't even notice black as I would have gone for black over white. Gutted. Could really do with cams facing outside in my area
