It was £70 at launch. Got to be gutted if you paid that...though I don't think many did.

I paid full price and I'm fine with it, if I'd waited till now I wouldn't have time to play it amongst other games

Think Skylanders, Disney Infinity. You buy specific plastic toys and place them on a special base and they appear in game on your TV

It seems like the perfect thing to be included in Black Friday deals, I'd wait.

What would be a good target price for an Xbox One S / X in forthcoming black Friday deals? I'm not sure what a typical promotional price for these consoles would be, but am interested in them with the Game Pass infrastructure they have in place.

I'm not familiar with most of those games mentioned, but it just sounds like an excuse to flog a load of plastic tat.

I paid £359 for my Xbox One X with Forza 7 from AO.com eBay, so anything equal or under that.

Xbox One S would be about £150. Last Christmas there were numerous bundle deals for under £200.

Whoa, had no idea the price gulf between the S and X was that big. Is it justified?

Posted in the VR thread:

Ad7 wrote:Viveport is currently doing a fantastic offer for subscribers:

Arizona Sunshine, super hot VR, Accounting +, Sairento and The wizards for £1 each

Even better, the offer is still valid if you sign up for their free trial, so I only paid a few quid for those brilliant games.

AND if you sign up for the free trial now you'll get £8 credit on the 20th, making the above effectively free :toot:

I also had an email from them saying if you paid the minimum subscription amount, you'd get a fallout 4 vr steam key for free.

Wolfenstein The New Colossus is only £2 in Asda for both PS4 and Xbox.
Price seems to vary store by store, but worth a look nevertheless.

£35 on Currys - https://www.currys.co.uk/gbuk/tv-and-ho ... 7-pdt.html

Think that might be as low as it's going to go for now.

Toys with built in NFC or similar so that when placed on a custom controller or stand they appear in the game, hence bringing them "to life"

With starlink you have a controller grip that the pilot and ship attach to, and that's who you play as in game. You can also switch the wings and weapons for different combinations.

With starlink there is the option of playing digitally, which is cheaper, so the physical toys are optional. I couldn't pass up owning a big plastic arwing though
