That actually started yesterday. Shenmue 3 is only available til 4pm, then the next game will appear.

Yeah and it was a nightmare actually ordering the game on their site. I assume because it was being hammered with requests.

Today's free game is Neon Abyss, which I had no trouble ordering, and have absolutely no intention of playing.

Lol, the storefront load balancing and paint speed are horrible, I couldn't log in either.

I just thought strawberry float it, I know it's free but if you want to upset the marketplace fix gooseberry fool like a never ending spinner on your log in button that I can't strawberry floating tap.

The download speeds are good but the actual store experience is just generic html5 style, they've spent millions on the free games but can't get a consistent experience on a web page.

Be fair Gecko, at least they finally provided an "add to cart" feature after only 3 years.

Try using the strawberry floating launcher, its even worse.

Every time I nab one of the free games (or occasionally buy something) I have to close and reopen the program otherewise it starts acting like I'm browsing a geocities webpage on a 56k modem.

They're practically paying to inflict the epic games store on people who aren't familiar with it at this point, I've had similar problems since it launched

Best one was when the whole thing got stuck on Polish language because of some geocaching/CDN issue wrongly detecting where I was. Despite being logged in with English language profile surely.

Having enjoyed Man of Medan last week just before it left Game Pass, I’ve bought the whole Dark Pictures Anthology for £33-odd in the latest Xbox sale so I could replay it for different decisions, plus the other 2 games

Possibly the greatest bargain ever. Sadly I suspect everyone who'd ever want to play it has already bought it.

...unless they port it of course

Definitely worth buying at that price, I got it last year for £1.79 and really enjoyed it.

Definitely a recommendation from me too.

I also just picked up 'Down in Bermuda' from the same developer, currently 99p on the eshop. I don't think it's as highly rated, but I've had my eye on it a while.

Zelda Breath of the Wild on Switch is £32.99 at Amazon. Not really a "bargain" but still the cheapest the game has been since it launched back in 2017.
