Yakuza 6: The Song of Life - Essence of Art Edition (PS4) - £14.99 @ Coolshop
Yakuza Kiwami 2 Steelbook Edition (PS4) - £17.99 @ Coolshop

Playing through Kiwami 1 at the moment so very tempted by these as they're the only games in the series I'm missing. I'm hoping they'll be announced for PC soon though.

I don't think there is a manual/auto mode because there's literally only two gears, low and hi.

You could look at the digital manual.

Edit: I can't believe it's this simple but you should use the d pad and down is shift up and up is shift down, just like a real gearstick. You can also change the control scheme I think.

Of course in the arcade there was just a wheel, accel/brake pedals and a gearstick. I think the steering is analogue as well in this version.

You need to accelerate to max speed on low gear before shifting to top gear. If you crash or loose speed for any reason such as a tight corner you need to shift down again. Managing low/hi and staying on track is pretty much the game because the checkpoints are unforgiving.

Soooooo, turns out that the R button pops it into Hi. And lo, 178 mph max speed now achievable! :fp:

Finished 'a' route first time now. Can't believe I was that stupid to not realise. Cheers

Not a bargain, but a great deal -

PlayStation VR Mega Pack (headset, camera, Astrobot Rescue Mission, Skyrim VR, Doom VFR, WipeOut Omega Collection and VR Worlds) for PS4 is back down to £239 at Amazon. Worth it just for Astrobot.

That's a fantastic deal, if you're teetering on the edge of committing to PSVR then this is the bundle you should jump into!

15% off electronics, including videogames, at eBay today until 8pm. Enter PLAY15 at checkout.

So you could get a Nintendo Switch for around £238, an Xbox One S 1TB with Forza Horizon 4 for £160, or an Xbox One X with Forza Horizon 4 and Forza 7 for £349.

strawberry float sake, I missed that Amazon deal as I currently have £50 in credit. So tough to decide stuff to get on Amazon sometimes though.

I got a giftcard this week and spent an hour just looking at stuff on Wednesday. Didn't buy anything.

First world problems.

Yep, I couldn't even find a pre-order that floated my boat. Amazon seemed very light on upcoming Switch pre-orders (was looking for DQXI and the cricket game).

Amazon is great if you know exactly what you want but otherwise is a nightmare to just browse, I find the whole site layout awkward and tedious.

Prime video is appalling to browse too.

Yeah, and my mum's about to send me a £100 voucher she got from a rich friend overseas but doesn't want because she never remembers to claim it, doesn't even know her password and will just buy random kitchen paraphernalia anyway :dread:

All I can think of are tools, more games (I have loads to play at the moment) or... Lego. I mean come on, strawberry floating lego.

Buy the Lego Mustang. You'll thank me later.
