I'm not normally one for magazines much anymore, but for £5 and with PS5 coming along I'm definitely rather tempted by that.

Is it easy enough to cancel the subscription? Do you have to cancel the renewal after you get your fifth issue? Or can you cancel the renewal immediately and still get your 5 issues?

Not sure when you have to cancel to only pay the £5 but you can now do it via the website under “Magazine subscription query” and “Cancellation”: https://www.myfavouritemagazines.co.uk/ ... cl=contact

Beyond the £5, a refund is always issued for any unmailed issues anyway.

Cancel upon receiving the last issue/before next payment date. I have that offer from before which brings me to Novembers issue before they'd try and charge me for a quarter sub (Need to cancel that one by late OCT) and could still do that same offer again 5 for £5 so chose later start date as Decembers issue so that's 10 issue for £10 :toot:

GAME are advertising a £5 voucher when you go to click and collect in store. In rather typical GAME fashion however I can’t find the terms and conditions anywhere. Maybe you’ll have better luck.

If anyone is thinking of getting the Sword or Shield Pokemon expansion pass there £20 or thereabouts on shopto which is about £7 less than they are on the eshop. Thought that might help people.

Microsoft Gift Cards are currently down to 5,050 points for £5 on Rewards and can be spent on Xbox products, including digital downloads. The money expires within 90 days however, so don't forget about it.

thanks for the heads up. I have been thinking about buying Telling Lies for a while now, this might push me to actually do so. I have 62,000 points at the moment, so i'm good there!

Is the expansion justifiable even for £31? Considering I paid £45 for the main game I’d be expecting something similar for that price.

Just be careful which one you buy as there are different passes for each of the games.

People who buy the wrong one from the eShop have been told "strawberry float off, tough luck sucker" by Nintendo and that they won't receive a refund if they accidentally purchased the incorrect expansion pass.

Yeah just a note same type of idea when buying code on Shopto, when redeem gives options to download two bundles. Choose to download either version for Sword (left bundle) or Shield (right bundle), and comes up with games logo when selecting before clicking redeem but could easily make mistake so go slow.

Dosen't sound like huge amount of content but worth £20 for £10 each DLC maybe.

I've just backed that and given out a bunch of keys on Steam to those of you who had stuff in your wishlists I wasn't interested in. Putting the unclaimed ones up in the Trading Post thread shortly.

The fact that pretty much anything I buy via avoiding going into game will save me the £5 makes it a hard incentive to get behind ;)
