I think the hardest I've ever raged was during a Quake 3 lan tourny where I was using someone else's mouse, but it was one of those strawberry floating weird shaped things that tracks the mousemat when you pick it up, and during matchups I'd been using another one (think someone else was borrowing my PC), meaning I was totally throw off.

Yelled about the mouse for a couple minutes to my mate organising it, mate got me to calm down a bit and continued drinking guiness and eating 3 bags of doritos for the rest of the evening. Camped overnight and threw up orange the next day. Good times.

Guitar Gear Xrd is £2.39 in the PSN Japan sale (I believe it runs in 1080p or whatever if you had it on PS3), which you'd never find most gooseberry fool boxed games at, and I've never played one of these anime style fighters (besides Street Fighter). It murders those games in terms of flair and it's worth it for the incredible J-metal soundtrack alone. Really refreshing as I found SFV a bit... Slow.

Lots of other weeb stuff too

I've grabbed one of the Earth Defense Force 4.1 games (Shadow of the New Despair) for £3.19 as well. EDF 5 is half price PS Plus exclusive discount if you're after that and some of the other ones are discounted.

Persona 5 standard is also just £10. Mostly JPRGs but there's some gems in there apparently. I'd say these sales are far more interesting than the "Game of the Generation" one on currently most of which aren't even good deals or "Royal/Ultiamte/Gold/Complete" upsells for upwards of £30...

Guilty Gear is a brilliant series of games, The animation in them is fantastic and the characters are always interesting and weird (Faust and Bedman being prime examples).

I'm slightly confused by the structure of releases (same with EDF) as I just saw V2 is also available for just over a fiver, a more recent release, I presume this just includes even more stuff, together with [i]another] "Xrd" entry with some other subtitle. The one I bought was Xrd REVELATOR.

But yeah the animation is great and I've already battled Bedman, WTH

I kind of get it's rehashed multiple times, episodically with more story/animation content. I have no idea what any of it is about but it's certainly a feast for the senses.

Also company of heroes 2 is 75p, which is a pretty good deal.

Went on Steam to get that, but the whole collection is a shade under six quid as well.

Just beware that the emulation isn't fantastic, especially if you use the virtual room stuff, but you can literally just boot the ROMs from any other application or use Sega's own simple launcher instead.

Dark Souls Trilogy is £34 on Amazon's Prime Day.

I've never played a Souls game as I'm sure they're way too hard for me. I'm tempted though as they seem to hold their price quite while in case I just don't get on with it at all.

Even I played Souls 1 and so I suspect *anyone* could, Grin! You have to accept that death is part of the game; and, once you do, it offers a sense of achievement that few other games can match.

I kinda gave up at the O&S boss, though  .

Oh, we got to the same place! I'd say we should both go back and try and advance further, but I know you're playing through Breath of the Wild to finish and then completing Ocarina of Time

If you want to play online with a game you own, then you want PS+. However, you can play the online portion of PS Now games sans PS+.

What's wrong with me?! In early summer I bought a PlayStation Now sub thinking it was a PS + sub.
edited to prevent further confusion.
