I hate that £40 for a seven year old Nintendo game is considered a bargain.

I was going to make this exact comment, but was worried I'd get slated for it

I've not used this retailer before (though they do accept PayPal), but the Pulse 3D headset for PlayStation 5 is £80.99 with '10% OFF EVERYTHING FEBRUARY' code: FEB10

https://www.365games.co.uk/ps5-accessor ... 2ef355d230

Planet Coaster Console Edition (PS5) is also £26.09 with the code: https://www.365games.co.uk/ps5-games/pl ... n-ps5-game

If you can't find any gold bullion lying around, just invest in some Nintendo games...

Rage 2 is free on the Epic Store.

Good for that price (ie the combat is great, the rest is meh)

Yeah condition similar of Pokemon crystal is going for £130-150 sometimes. Either copies that aren't decimated by careless kids or already in collections are running low or people just really strawberry floating like having legit Pokemon games.

I reckon it's just an eBay bubble though, if eBay wasn't there no way would you be seeing those prices. I'm not complaining though. What creates the greatest ire is knowing I had a lot of this gooseberry fool in good nick and stupid family didn't listen to me and tossed it.

So... is a mint-condition, boxed Pokemon Red likely to be worth something?

On the plus side for you in particular, Taz Express is now into three figures :toot:

Yup, was around £75-80, depends on condition but mine is pretty damn good, close to shop shelf. I bought it in Woolworths

Probs around £50 yeah but maybe more, the other games had less copies printed I reckon (which is ridiculous considering how much Pokemon actually sold for).

I would recommend Mario and Rabbids instead if you're looking for a tactical Mario adventure, the battle system in Origami King is really crap.
