Because it's a clearance product and as has been seen before with Comet clearance products (for instance the 360 entertainment packs with a wireless pad, Viva Pinata and Forza 2) they are in limited stocks.
But maybe they over ordered the product and have lots to sell.

Loads of Comets still have stock of LO,
Condemned 2 is £9.99 on PS3
Viking is £9.99 on PS3
Sega Superstar Tennis is £9.99 on both 360 and PS3
Frontlines is also £9.99
All in comet.

Because of the basis of common sense, i know for a fact all the comet deals posted in recent weeks, i.e. the club for £5 and LO for £9.99 haven't been available in 10 local comets near me.

I am not getting in to a debate in this thread. This will be the last post I make in this thread discussing this, if anyone wants to discuss it in more detail, I'll happilly discuss it in PMs, but I don't want to clog up this thread with anything other than bargains.

I don't make a huge deal of money, but yeah, I'm a student at the minute, and every little helps me out. I try to be as upfront about it as possible, I wouldn't want to mislead anyone. I don't have any advertising revenue or anything.
My 3 nearest comets have next to zero games in, and my understanding is that most stores are decreasing the amount of business they do in video games in general. I've heard lots of reports of people being unable to find games on clearance at their local Comet, so obviously the next best price that is available nationwide/online is useful to some people.
In case anyone doesn't know the history of Fish Fingers, he got banned from GR for a range of things, including posting malicious and immature comments on SavyGamer, refusing to listen to mods when they told him to stop arguing in the bargains thread, and various other things. He has been given a fresh start here, so hopefully he won't repeat his behaviour from the past.

The games arent 'clearence' they are still brand new sealed, they just arent profitable to sell after a while. As for not stocking many, most of the comets in the midlands have plentiful stock of the bargains I post as I check the area before I post them.

I have only just gone and bloody bought it!
Day off and there is Comet down the road so thought I would make a quick trip. While there saw Condenmed 2 for the same price on 360!
