Things come up though which mean you're not able to post for a day. Don't see why you should be kicked out of the game for being away for a day or two over a game that can last 2+ weeks.

I'm not specifying a quota or anything like that but, and no offence you, this game has been going for five days almost and you've barely posted, like plenty of others. MCN for example has been active all around the forum since the game started but he's only made four posts in this thread. I'm not talking in an extreme sense, just the people listed below, for example. I do remember seeing you post a couple of times and you haven't been on much anyway. I suppose the only fair way to do it would be at the narrator's discretion.

If I was running this, the following would be offed as they've had next to no input:

Let me know if ive got anything wrong here;

If Rogs suicide holds there will be

19 total players = 5 pirates & 14 civilians

If we dont get a pirate kill tonight, tomorrow we will have

16 total players = 5 pirates & 11 civilians

At this point any lynch vote can be easily swayed in favour of the pirates, so on christmas eve it will be

13 total players = 5 pirates & 8 civilians

At this point isnt there the rule that states that the pirates can overwhelm the civilians?

By my calculations this game wont even last a single week.
This is definately finished before christmas day unless there is some break of luck, or Goat puts in an interesting event.

Ok, screw this. You called me a moron for posting them in the thread? I had under good authority that I was being protected, i'm guessing that never actually happened which leads me to believe who the Alpha is.

There's no reason to call me a moron, that's just stupid. I confirmed them as humans to show that people could trust them. I also posted my gooseberry fool in the thread so obviously you would attack me, but then some retard vigilante killed me for no reason. Also, if I didn't post my seerings in the thread, how else would people know what I found out? lolmore.

Once again, this game was ruined by people just not posting whatsoever. As Drummy already said I think that you should have to make a certain amount of posts a day to stay in the game, atleast one. Fair enough if your not on the forum, but all of the people that joined the game have been active on the rest of the forum. This would work a lot better if when people signed up they actually bothered playing. Ruins the game for the rest IMO. After Drummy dies today you'll be left with one active human. One active player. What kind of a joke is that?

I was enjoying this game and thanks Goat for running it. Inactives have ruined it and the pirates didn't even bother killing inactives to start.

You were protected, but only from pirates. Not a misfiring vigilante.

Once the pirates turn in the night finishes the Herbalist goes back to sleep and then the Vigilantes have their turn, and thus for this portion of the day you are left unprotected.

Yes Ill be captain, Provisionally Ill put in the bottom 2 inactives, unless something else comes to light. And please herbalist or witch doctor PM me. I think because SD was killed by a (pirate) vigilante the herbalist/wich doctor doesnt protect against that.

In the last AYAW, as soon as one wolf died the wolf kills went down from 3 to 2, then after a second wolf was killed the wolf kills went from 2 to 1. Non of this alpha nonsense that Rog mentioned, so surely the wolf kills should be going down to one now?

And inactives are what ruined the game last time, there were just not enough active humans to ever get anything done and Henke and Memento Mori both actually ran the thread, I remember 2 or 3 days before they even won they were joking about being wolves there in the thread! But the remaining humans were all inactives so it didn't matter.

8-) :lol: I forgot about that. I asked in the very beginning of this thread for an inactive cull system. Inactives should not be tolerated in the next AYAW.

I wouldnt mind taking a stab at running one of these someday. I would ammend the rules to balance out play, it seems far too much in favour of the wolves. Inactives are the death of these games and that needs correcting. There will be fine rules about special powers too (to prevent the Vigilantes shooting their load prematurely).

Rog, I'd actually sent the order for your death, but I got killed before it could be implemented. Also, we had a plan, but a couple of mistakes meant that I died prematurely.

Nah this game they only had 2 kills a night to start with. And I made it so that it goes down to 1 when/if the Alpha dies. Thought it'd be more even what with the increased number of Special roles (such as 2 assassins with 2 bullets each) but that hasn't quite worked.


The thing about an inactive cull is you never know who exactly is inactive. PCCD for example stated he had been taking part a lot 'behind the scenes' be it talking with others on MSN or whatnot, I don't know. So if I was to kill someone doing something like this there could be a lot of backlash from them claiming that they are playing. But using different tactics.

I will be putting MCN and Clarkman in the brig. Both havent posted much in the thread. The deadline is 5pm, but if they can bring anything good to the table then i will substitute for Henke and Teh bork as thier reserves.
