Battlefield 2042 (XB/PS/PC) - No more content updates & Motive Studio making a BF game.

Battlefront is just terrible with vehicles. They should be on the map at all times, just for immersion's sake. Locking them behind a points system just means fewer people using them.

The problems with BF:V have been the amount of hackers playing with no server admin as EA removed this from the official servers it's become hard to find a decent server.
Also remake bad company 2 but BF2 or 4 would be decent.

I think Battlefield games have lost a lot over the years by becoming increasingly complicated, if that's the right word. I'd want a Battlefield 2 remake because the I think the game is a cleaner, sharper shooting experience, and on the whole just more balanced and fun to play. I enjoy Battlefield 4 mind, but having played both a fair bit over the past year, I prefer 2.

Though the nade spam on Karkand and the voiceline spam can do one.

I will be honest and say I didn't like the updated Caspian border if BF4, the map in BF3 was better.

Siege of Shanghai was a lot of fun,
Zavod was one of my favourite maps. I had a great time in the chopper with Qikz, Winkle and Kezzer or mowing people down with the AAA.
Operation Firestorm was a good map, had a lot of fun co-driving a tank with Winkle.

I think the rule is to get this on launch and bitch and moan till the thing starts getting fixed.

That is a good 2 year moan but if it is more BF4 than the last 2 games then it is a move in the right direction.

Don’t get me wrong, I loved BF3 and 4. I was a console player back then and spent hundreds of hours on BF4 with my mates, incredible game.

I love Battlefield, i have less time as ive got older, and so haven’t really played much BF1/V. I know they are alpha, but they don’t really excite me at all.

It’s also a fair whinge. BF4 was a shocker for 6 months or more.

Depending on how things go I will probably end up getting this. I really an tired of WW2 shooters and WW1 while interesting I don't have much of an interest in the weapons (game wise) than modern or future weapons.

I am curious if the 2nd November release date is true.

Just remembered my first time Playing Damavand peak and doing the base jump, so many good memories.

Okay I am now looking forward to this as I have had so may good moments with these series of games (sans BF1 and BF5).

Edit, seems that some think it is the 28th October which is a Thursday, however the 2nd November is a Tuesday and would be 150 days from the date the hints were made to a bunch of youtubers. We shall see.

I'm still doubtful that 128 players is going to be a thing even though the maps are being developed around it. I do hope the servers have the ability to do all the stuff the BF4 servers could. Handgun only could be a lot of fun.
