I think it has more to do with the fact that the game is also on PS4 and XBO.
This certainly doesn't seem like a reskin of B4 and they seem to have put in a massive amount of work into this.

This does look very tempting but I'm very conflicted as I played the single player of BF 1 and a bit of 4 recently and I thought they were crap - the guns were all absolute peashooters, it was too stealth oriented and it was buggy as hell (I spent five entire minutes hiding in a hut where I could stab enemies that were clipping through a door :lol:

). Obviously the bugs and SP design will be irrelevant in MP but is the MP combat more satisfying? As a marker of my opinion/level: I'm crap at Battlefront 2 but I still enjoy it a lot!

Give it a go in the open beta next month, see how you feel then.

I will do that! I'm circling around the drain of the minimum specs as well so let's see how much performance I can eke out of my PC :dread:

The internal environment looked quite nice (from what little you see). I do hope they show some gameplay next week at gamescom.

Looks nice but also runs rough at the minute. I like the map. The helicopters look overpowered at the minute (they look to get a lot of flares, or the cool down is too short).

The gameplay looks solid. Players seem to blend too easily with the background so camping might be significant.

I will probably get this. I want an MP shooter and I love battlefield. However, I am waiting till it’s released to see how it actually is. If good, I’ll get straight away (there is sometimes a small price increase if it’s well received, but beats the risk of preorder).

Regarding the Beta I think it will be the end of the month, too many things with COD happening for the first 3 weeks of September.

22nd Sep is the latest rumour for the beta.

How it runs and the gunplay are always my concerns. Might try and get a look at the beta. Couple of cod mates want to try this and i wouldn't mind a few games with guys on here.

I don't mind a delay if we can have a better launch than the last few games in the series.
Maybe they could make the anti-aircraft tank as OP as it was at the start of B4 though as that thing was a strawberry floating beast.
The passive homing missiles didn't need to be locked on before launch so you just fired in the general direction of a helicopter and watch the points roll in as it tumbled from the sky.
I had games in that where it was pretty much suicide to think about taking off in a chopper and I sat at the back of the map like the noobiest noob in noob town :shifty:

By all acounts the first 2 days is for pre-order peeps then the remaining 2 days is open to all.
