I'd wait until you finish season 3 though, as while it's mostly set before it it does spoil some of the events from that season if you watch it earlier. It was originally aired between seasons 3 and 4.

I'm watching it all on Netflix, did that whole switch thing so I am able to watch things that the Americans are supposed to only have. Gotta love technology. I will probably end up watching all the extra bits after I'm done with the main series. Also that guy posted that he had finished season 4 and was moving onto the last season, I thought season 4 WAS the last season?

He probably meant he was going to watch The Plan, which isn't available on Netflix US for some bizzare reason.

The full box set has all the extras included so it is split into five, the extras are Razor and another special before season one. If you haven't seen those they are worth a watch, other than that its all the same.

If your are remotely interested then you will not be disappointed, as I posted earlier when it finishes were gonna struggle to match it, hopefully Sopranos box set will be as good.

And you really shouldn't be disappointed with The Sopranos, it is truly great television.

It is, but the first half was released on DVD as "Season 4", while the second half was released as "The Final Season" just to be annoying.

There's robots and humans. The robots turn on their creators, all that is left of the human race is a ragtag fleet of ships trying to survive in space while being hunted. There's a bit more to it than that, but that's the basic premise.

If you can get the miniseries, I'd watch that and decide whether you want to continue. Although the jump in quality from that mini series and the first season is quite large. It really is a special TV show.
