Have you ever seen the documentaries on BBC Alba about Scottish (mainly Glaswegian) psychopaths? Now they are fantastic. Dark, deep and accurate.

What are they called, I love stuff like that!

Last weeks episode has been removed from iPlayer, I don't know why, but I speak so little Gaelic that I can't remember what they called the show  I'll Find out and PM you,

(thank God for subtitles)

Only Connect is moving to BBC2 this series.

Im not sure how I feel about this.

This last series someone strawberry floated up on a question big time, and Coren just said something along the lines of; 'Dont worry, its BBC4 and nobody is watching anyway'. Quite amusing.

There IS a chance they dumb it down, the question guru who I worked with on it has left the show.

Yeah you heard that right.

What is the point of Only Connect if they make it easy?

Well exactly. I HOPE they won't, but there is a risk.

It's coming back to TV. Quite surprising, I thought the BBC would be getting chopped up by the government by now.

I just noticed this was a Scotty thread. :capnscotty:

I like that This Country is another show that went with the "always leave them wanting more" approach, but I can't deny that part of me would love to see them bring it back!

They've said they won't do another and yeah, I do agree it finished on a high.

I just want more! I can't think of a British comedy I've enjoyed more in the last decade, at least.

That's because the country of Britain is too busy making the world laugh.

I wasn’t aware they’d said they aren’t doing another series of This Country :( I loved that programme, at least it ended on a high though!

One programme I’d like to see get another series is In The Flesh, thought it was a very neat idea on the often tired zombie genre/trope which got cancelled for a much, much worse zombie themed show :dread:

I went straight from This Country to People Just Do Nothing. It takes longer to get into and from a simplistic viewpoint I'd say it's not quite as good as This Country, but it's a broader experience overall so you end up more invested in the characters and events. There is also a fairly recent film spinoff (that I haven't seen yet).

Plus, there's no one quite like my main man Chabuddy G :datass:.

I'm pretty sure they don't have either of those. You're thinking of ITV.
