I'm partial to the lengthy and comfortably mundane existence, myself.

My life's certainly not boring.

I couldn't imagine a life without chicken and stuffing sandwiches.

Good for you. Some people just don't like meat.

Accept it, Nuts.

Yeah, I can see my excitement going through the roof if only I'd eat a chicken sandwich!

But seriously, I love being veggie and couldn't give two gooseberry fools about what anyone else chooses to eat, be it dead cow or whatever. In return, I expect them to not give a gooseberry fool what I eat. And there is balance.

I didn't realise what people choose to eat was such a heated issue.

How don't you 'agree' with veggies, Anung?

My parents were vegetarians so I grew up not eating meat. Wouldn't touch the stuff now. I don't see anything wrong in eating it but the idea of chowing down on some dead animal carcass makes me feel sick. Even the smell when I walk past the meat section in a supermarket is disgusting.

Said it one of my earlier posts. I just dont agree with anyone who tries to force feed anyone else their beliefs. And alot alot alot alot of the veggies i have met have, alot.

A lot, okay?!

I think that's true of any minority belief group though. I'm not fussed about any mainstream religion, belief or whatever so long as they don't try and kick it in to me. Personally, I'm not fussed what anyone else eats so long as I can have whatever I feel is acceptable to my personal morals. It just seemed strange to single out vegetarianism seeing as how they're generally the most laid-back and common of said groups nowadays...

But...bacon?!

I do think NGE has the single most sensible reason for being a veggie ever.

Few phrases annoy me more than 'meat is murder'.

Still, I'm safe in the knowledge that my cholesterol count is 2.7 (and I'm a smoker) and that I'm 11 and a half stone.

Yeah, I'm gutted I don't like meat.

Hello,

You know it's actually very hard to be a vegetarian and still be as healthy as those who eat meat. Cholesterol and weight are not the be all and end all!

Goodbye.

Holy strawberry float, but does brain shrinkage mean more stupidity?

I'll quote myself:

The title is highly misleading. 'Vitamin B12 Deficiency Shrinks Brain' would be more accurate, but that's not nearly as sensationalist.

Also most vegetarians consume dairy products so are unlikely to be deficient in vitamin B12 anyway.
