I can’t remember the specific year, but I did love the Champagne flavoured Crunchie.

The Meltdown The Revenge remains one of my favourite Domino’s pizza. Blew my head off.

Current worst has to be The Jerk Chicken flavoured Pot Noodle, which tastes so salty I could barely believe how much they’ve put in it (something like 52% of your RDA). I only had a couple of mouthfuls and that was enough.

I had to skip three hours of lectures the day after eating one of those because every twenty minutes or so my arse would want to violently expel a vast quantity of what felt like molten steel. I had to shower after each incident just to get rid of the bumsting. Never again.

Best: Orange Coke. Yes it was just Coke and Fanta mixed together and I can do that myself when I go to Nandos BUT I SHOULDN'T HAVE TO DAMN IT!

You may already know this but you can buy that off the shelf in Germany, it's called Mezzo Mix and it's bloody lovely. Seems to be launching in a lot more countries worldwide over this year and next so maybe there's some home we'll get it in the UK at some point.

I know these started as limited editions at Christmas but not sure if they ended up becoming a more regular fixture before they were discontinued. Either way, they were great.

Worst

Tried some pretty odd Tesco special edition seasonal crisps over the last few years and found both the Cocoa & Spiced Rum varieties and the Salted Caramel ones to be quite nice so I figured I'd give these a go. They were about as bad as you'd imagine they'd be.

My all time favourite was Diet Coke plus Green Tea, which given it's very short UK existence, probably meant I was the only person buying it.

Why availability of this utter ambrosia hasn't been brought up in Brexit negotiations I have no idea...

I can't let this pass. Coca Cola did not invent this.

In Germany 'Spezi' although it's a trademark, is a generic term for cola mixed with orangeade.

Sorry for the pendantry.

So far this year, I have eaten NO mince pies.

I did not know this, thanks for the info! Mezzo Mix is the one I tried in Germany each time I've been but I guess that's just because it's made by Coca Cola. I will have to sample other brands of Spezi next time I visit!

Can confirm Mezzo Mix was available in my nearest Nandos when I went last week. Didn't much care for it, if I'm honest.

I'll have to think about best but in terms of the worst limited edition my mind instantly went to these:

Image

Walkers released a batch of "World Flavours" crisps to coincide with the 2010 World Cup. They were all truly, truly awful. The worst offender that I recall being the Italian Spaghetti Bolognese flavour which was frankly inedible and provoked an almost instant gag reflex on first taste. :dread:

Within about a week of going on sale the shelves and storeroom were still full of them in our local Tescoses and they were practically giving them away - bags of 24 of the bastards were going for about 50p. Still very few takers.
