PostBest free software to copy a protection-free DVD?

I have a home made movie on DVD. It has no copyright protection on it. I just want to make a copy. I have PowerDVD but it doesn't work for some reason. Can anybody recommend a simple, FREE, program that works properly and doesn't leave watermarks. I've been looking at downloads.com but so much of the stuff turns out to be dud. Any ideas?

I've never used CDBurnerXP to copy, only write images, but it says it does it and I've always found it to be a decent little program.

If it hasn't any copy protection, just copy the video_ts folder to your PC then burn it as data onto a new disc.
