Best games that never received a sequel?

It was a great game, I've recommended it to a few people and they've all really enjoyed it.

After the Direct announcement I was going to suggest Star Wars Episode 1 Pod Racer, but it seems it had a sequel on the PS2-Revenge. Completely missed that.

A new ( possibly preferably 2D) Earthworm Jim would be nice. Off and on for years theres been little rumours of someone maybe one day doing something with Earthworm Jim - I'd definitely be interested

Has anyone brought up Freedom Fighters yet? One of the best 3rd person shooters of the PS2/XB/NGC gen. I loved the straightforward squad mechanics and the multiplayer was a right laugh.
