I loved that. It actually had a decent frame rate on my A600, which was more than you could say for most flight sims at the time.

The close-quarters combat was also a lot more immediate/fun than firing a missile at two pixels on the horizon somewhere.

My nomination would be Future Cop: LAPD. Thought that was great on PS1 and would love to play a new version.

Ristar, that game deserved a franchise.

Folklore is a cult classic, you'd be far from the only one

A console sequel to Lego City Undercover please. That game is awesome

Hasn't been long but long enough to think the moment has passed and to worry we won't get one. I can't for the life of me think why it wouldn't be in everyone's interest to keep Sonic Mania sequels coming

Yep it's crazy. Pretty much the first Sonic game in a generation that manged to sell well, get great reviews and be pretty much universally loved by the fan base... so obviously SEGA can't be bothered to follow it up with a sequel!

They really are bizarre in their decision making process at times.

Christian Whitehead, the driving force behind it, is working on Freedom Planet 2 at the moment, according to his Wikipedia.

I agree it's crazy Sega didn't get him working on a follow up straight away.

Future Cop: L.A.P.D. - What's not to love about playing a police transformer mech, dishing out rough justice to violent gangs, crazed scientists, omniscient rogue A.I. and more in a dystopian future metropolis?

Yeah "insider" talk was that Whitehead and Headcannon games (Taxman and Stealth as they are known in the community) were up for doing more but it looks like SEGA didn't move on it or show any real interest. :fp:

They released Sonic Forces, which says everything about how they view Mania - as morning more than a prelude to their own garbage.

Is Sega racist?

I didn't even mind the stealth sections.

I still have hope it will happen one day but another installment in the Retro DKR series would be awesome. Get the feeling that DKTF may never get a sequel though :(

I'm surprised they didn't make a sequel as although it wasn't perfect, it had some great ideas and was (mostly) a joy to play.

Instead Sega made loads of gooseberry fool Sonic games.`

+1 for Buck Bumble but why did I have to go and listen to the title music just before trying to go to sleep :fp:

One game I loved back in the last generation was Enslaved: Odyssey to the West. It’s a crime that not only did it not get a sequel it also never got a remaster on the current systems

Also Sleeping Dogs

Phantasy Star IV

Yes, I'm aware of the Online games but they don't count as they were totally different, I really want another proper single player RPG with turn based combat.

Absolutely to all three of these as well.

And now I'm listening to the Buck Bumble theme too
