With Halo Infinite's shoddy attempts at foliage, which games put it to to shame?

I got bored of RDR2 way before completing it, but if there's one thing I'd give credit for, its the stunning grass work on display. Has it all, detail, variety, realistic animation as you walk through.

Did Mario Sunshine have nice grass? I feel like it would have. Wind waker maybe.

Breath of the Wild is pretty god tier. Also really stunning in Ghost of Tsushima.

TLOU2 clearly has the best grass. There's even a part quite early on when you find an entire basement full of it.

Yeah, I think Last of Us 2 has this one.

I dunno if it's the best grass, but I can tell you the first game whose grass I enjoyed interacting with: Link's Awakening (1993). Pretty sure that was the first game I played which allowed grass and bushes to be cut and even lifted and thrown.
