Best of GRcade Awards 2015 - Thread of the Year

Welcome to the 2015 GRcade awards!

As promised, we're going to bring back the end-of-year celebration of the best of our unique community, in a simplified format.

The awards are simple. There will be seven categories, with all members eligible to vote (except for themselves!) and there will be no prior nominations - everyone and everything can be voted for. That's every member, every post, every event, every quote from the last 12 months.

I'd encourage everyone to share their worthy winners in this thread, as it will help others remember deserving recipients and will probably increase the chances of your chosen worthy winner emerging victorious. As well as serving this purpose, it'll also be fun to discuss great GRcade moments of 2015!

Which thread has been your favourite of the last twelve months? Maybe it's the place you like to post the most. Maybe it's the one thread that, in your opinion, has generated the most controversy... or hilarity. Maybe it's an über-useful thread filled with helpful info, maybe it's a short and underappreciated thread with a superb OP. Whatever the reason, let me know which one thread you'd like to reward with the accolade of Thread of the Year 2015!

To vote, simply PM me, with the subject of your PM being "Thread of the Year". Voting closes next Monday, when this thread will be locked and we'll move onto the next category!
